Keeping busy these days. Lots of babysitting duties with neighbour doggy (the brats are not happy with me, the short one is especially jealous ). Off to se Motown tonight, so should be fun.

On the not so fun side of things, I think my fridge is on its last legs - darn thing is making weird grinding sounds and not keeping things as cold as it should. The freezer portion seems ok, thankfully. We'll see if I have to go into debt soon. And I'm still dreading Friday (only good thing is that some folks I like will also be there, so I'll have a buffer between me and the twit).

Better get going and play with the brats - they're feeling horribly neglected these days.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
Andit try vacuuming your coils in the back and if the fan if it is accessible. I also find you need to keep some air flow in the back of the Freezer and the fridge section will run more efficiently. I find this helps, mine was making noises and it completely fixed the problem, especially with pets in the house the hair tends to get to the back of the fridge.

This is a crazy week for me. Something every night after work. Plus DS works 3 nights this week too but at least he can walk there right afterschool but I will pick him up at 9 or 10 depending on the day. Glad he will be raking in a good pay cheque the next few weeks. He has a very easy semester so good time to work hard. Tonight after my meeting I will feed youngest DS (leftovers in fridge, tacos etc) then I need to prep tomorrow nights dinner. I'm thinking crockpot night! I will defrost a small pork roast, peel some potatoes and carrots and put it all in! That should do us for tomorrow night and Thursday night (youngest has hockey). Will tidy bathrooms and gather laundry and put a load on if I have enough just to keep up on it. Will also pull a Rubbermaid bin tonight and post some things for sale. Gotta get it moved out of the house!

I know Lizzie, she makes me tired reading her posts!!!Energizer Bunny indeed.
Well my doctor's appointment was frustrating, she couldn't even get a blood pressure reading in my left arm, she tried so many times my arm was killing me, she changed my meds so I am hoping, they are running out of tests to do. I have instructions to get to emerg if the arm pain worsens or my hand feels cold..sigh. It could be worse but this has really been dragging out.
Went down to 1 degree last night so I picked all my tomatoes and I have slow roasted pasta sauce in the oven and will just let the rest ripen. I love fall, I feel energized with the brisk temps and the colour, but I know whats coming!
Hope everyone has a wonderful day

Chester the dog got sprayed by guess what.....WINNER....not impressed. Washed him 3 times this am and sprayed febreeze after when all was said and done. He smells 100% times better thanksfully BUT sure starts the day on panic mode (haha)

Supper tonight is hot Italian sausage.

Cleaning the bathroom is on my to do list as my mom arrives tomorrow, well off to the races.

I rec'd a call yesterday from PC Financial they have declined my request for the Elite MC (no harm in asking), there are 3 requirements to get the new card AND sadly I don't meet meet them (oh well).

@coupon girl , just hoping you don't catch what DIL has, that is the worst when illness makes the rounds. Nothing frugal-like to report today....yet. Maybe I'll luck into some deal while I am out later??
Enjoy the sunshine and cooler temps today everyone.

Busy lunch break. Went to Superstore to PM the Arm and Hammer detergent. Grabbed 4 bottles with a "try me dishwasher tab) attached. Then went to CT to gas up (93.9 L) so popped in the store to get the 10 x coupon. Used my CT GC from previous purchase -Paid $42.50 for $50 GC) Also used it to pay for the lottery pool tickets for work and took the cash for our casino visit with free dinner on Sunday
