We saved up all of our pc points for Christmas this year, purchased gift cards as gifts for MIL, FIL, DS2, DS1. MIL got gift cards and I took the gc's for FIL, ds1 and ds2 and purchased the items on their lists at the stores where I got the gcs for free, it worked out wonderful.

I also saved up my sdm points and did 2x top level redemption & 1 middle redemption WHICH we spent our points on mega redemption so instead of getting $170 for top level we got $200 ($30 x 2 redemptions and $10 extra for middle redemption) so an extra = $70 by saving points and shopping on mega redemption and in all got $500 worth of free gifts at SDM. We got my mom her Poison perfume which is super expensive, d2 xbox1 charger, wireless controller for xbox1, a few games and stocking stuffers and dh a FUJI camera which he absolutely loves.

Long story short dh was very impressed and we are doing this again this year, I tell you it makes a huge difference during what is normally a very expensive December.

I almost have enough for another top level redemption since we have been using our great offers and sdm which seem to be aligning with the sales BUT I will admit we did have 32K of points left after our Christmas shopping BUT all in all super pumped as I would love to have both dh & me each do 2 top level redemptions on the mega redemption days and it's looking pretty good so far.

Managed to get ornaments for my nieces for next Christmas. Went to Bombay co last week and all ornaments were 75 off. Regular price of each ornament was $49. Also got some Christmas stockings for Christmas family for $1.14 nice green velvet with sequins. Went back a couple of days later and thought I would pick up one more of the stockings for my dads room for next year. They were down to $.44. Also picked up some green and gold tinsel for $.14 each and 3 large unbreakable ornaments for $1.94. So his room should look festive for about $6. Everything was purchased at loblaws.

I purchased a 4 foot Christmas wreath for $20 reg. $74.99 and at the same time had purchased a new Christmas tree which was $129 marked down to $32 + taxes.

Well the tree lights were defective so dh returned yesterday I had called the store and asked them to put the much larger version aside for me as they only had the 1 left.

Dh returned the defective tree yesterday and picked up the other tree (7.5 foot) which is reg. price $279 which was marked down to $74 (which I was willing to pay) HOWEVER they offered dh the tree for the same price as the one he returned for $32 so super happy. Tested the tree last night to ensure everything was fine and yes sirree....happy dance.

Just purchased this for youngest DS http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/...F6000190410589

He loves games and anything is better then a screen! (Tv/ipad/computer) etc.
I need to remind myself to look at Walmart online clearance more often.

I still need to take the lights out and the fudge tins from Christmas. Pre-shoppin is on hold until April for now.

Finally picked up the game for DS at the Post office today. Also put a deal on hold till Wednesday to pick up (SDM pts offer) Not as good as yesterday but the item wasn't on markdown that day so saving $40 x 3 is worth missing out on some point I suppose.
