Zika is supposed to have arrived in Brazil along with all of the international participants and spectators during last year's world cup of soccer.

The Olympics are in Brazil in August and that will provide an opportunity to blow zika all over the world.

Saskatoon smashes snowball fight world record

Thousands of snowballs flew through the air in Victoria Park Sunday afternoon as Saskatoon residents took aim at a world record.

The numbers are not yet official, but more than 8,000 people had officially registered, with thousands more watching and lobbing their white projectiles from outside the barrier.

Saskatoon’s snowball fight, attended by CBC’s Rick Mercer, Mayor Don Atchison and the Canadian national snowball fighting team, appears to have the mark of 5,834 set by the city of Seattle.

There is a boatload of evidence in the Tim Bosma case...scratching my head as to how/why this is going to take 4 months. There's so much evidence that there seems to be no defense for it. I think it will be a slam-dunk for the Crown, which is a good, sad thing.
