MQ - you are brave to try such different dishes - that site looks interesting, I'll look through it.
Well, the Chinese food yesterday def brought back my appetite. I had a very small portion, then two snackies of it through the evening.
Glad I don't have to cook tonight, there's lots of food left.

Tonight is a big fundraiser that I have been organizing for a long time. Supper is roast beef, mashed potatoes, cooked broccoli/cauliflower/carrot, salad, buns, pickles, gravy, and dessert.

Ok People. .. I need some help from you expert cooks. I have to do salmon tomorrow (Blech!) for guests.
How about throwing some good ideas my way!
For ME and the OTHER guests I'm having Baby back ribs, sweet potato fries, broccoli cauliflower cheesy casserole, bacon spinach salad with warm creamy dressing, garlic bread (homemade wit Lots of garlic of course) then a double chocolate Torte with ice cream.
I'm thinking of making stuffed mushrooms for appetizer, but we'll see if I have time.
I really threw together a Very quick supper tonight. I had a cup of Veg. broth left over and a pack of fresh chinese noodles, so I sauteed garlic, ginger, green onion . . . . added broth soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster sauce and a little water and steamed/cooked it. Turned out quite good!
Took a little care pkg. to a meeting i was going to. Older gentleman in my congregation whose wife has ahlzeimers. She's deteriorating fast and he loves her a lot. He doesn't really need the food. . .it's more to let him know we're thinking of him, you know??
