Good morning!!

Hubby got up too early, but closed the door so I slept in until 9am...Jenny is still asleep. I tried to get her up, found her wrapped in her pink blankie, but she just turned around to snuggle back inside. She is definitely not a morning person! It's probably in her genes...neither am I.

It's supposed to go up ... and I use that word loosely ... to -2 this afternoon so hopefully more melting of the white crap will happen. AND I just found out yesterday that they added another DAY onto this month!! Well thankewverymuch! Just what I needed, a longer February!

Good morning everyone, we have freezing rain. Just in time for rush hour.

Good morning, everyone!

We watch the weather channel now and then and this morning our DD told us about this storm warning, but when we see the radar on there, it all seems to be below us, primarily across the snow-belt to the east of the great lakes; we'll see I guess. For anyone in that impending mess, please drive carefully and watch out for other drivers who don't.

I cut out 54 bright printed, 6" squares and 54 white ones for our niece's little girl she's expecting in June, so today will be pinning them two together, sewing and making pinwheels. I'm so happy my new machine won't chew them up like my old one!

Hi, 22Hicks! Nope, no soreness...I use my rotary cutter for all those and am now sewing them together in twos, a white to a printed one, and taking a break to check my email.

My brother had a toe amputated yesterday in Toronto, a complication of his long-running diabetes, so I keep checking for updates from my SIL. He'll be released on Friday.

Looks like this snowstorm is all below us, although we might get 1cm...you all stay safe, please!!!

Well, the snow stopped, then it was freezing rain for about an hour, then, it's been raining ever since.
Sure glad I don't have to go out.

Baked oatmeal cookies today. I'm just making a shopping list & will be sending DH out tomorrow to get some groceries in. I'm feeling OK. So far, the nausea is staying away & I've been drinking lots of water. Feeling a bit sad today & trying not to let it get a hold of me.
Thinking it's a good day for spaghetti & meat sauce.

For whatever reason, I'm feeling chilled. I'm curled up on the couch, under a warm blanket, but still shivering, so I think I'll go have a nap.
