Hey @walkonby , are you watching this ? It bodes well for tomorrow's game for you.
Looks like they've found their bats.
They just said they've gotten more runs this inning than all the 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th innings combined in the past 8 games. (that doesn't sound grammatically correct)
Bet you're getting excited.

I knew the kitten was hurt, just didn't realize it had to be caged because of it. Poor baby!
Lynn, I guess you just could make sure there's cozy material inside, and maybe an old stuffie. Kitty needs snuggle and play time too, though. I hope the meowing lessens so you aren't as bothered.
Once a million years ago after I first moved out of home, I was living in a basement suite, and got a kitten - and ended up having to give her away because my landlady - an old widow who lived upstairs, said the kitten was crying all day while I was at work. I learned after that to have at least two kittens at once.

Hello, all!
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
Today is my husband's birthday, yay! Milan will come over for supper, and we'll just be together to drink and eat well!
Poor son had major car trouble yesterday - he's got a Mustang he drives through the winter, but it crapped out yesterday, so he had to get his big boat of a car he had parked for the winter out of storage, to make it drivable. He also had to rescue his friend who had major truck trouble, so I think after spending all day in school, he spent the whole evening at the shop!

Hey, everyone!!
Natalka, yes, 22Hicks is right: it's only been 4 weeks since her surgery in Toronto, although there's no cast, just stitches which are healed now. She had a "soft" cone that prevented her from getting at her stitches.
The cage was/is to prevent her from flying all over the house there until it's well healed. They'll take her for her x-ray when they get back from California next week.
Nat, I do take her out for cuddle-time but the little brat dug her claws right into my hand yesterday because she tried to get loose...today she was purring, and didn't try to escape when I held her for DH to clean her cage...I'll do that again this afternoon. The cage is about 5' x 4', so she's got tons of room, and he put a box in there with a hole cut out so that she can 'hide' from the world. There's towel in there...the box is one of those...oh, let's say 2'x18" grocery boxes, so she enjoys laying in there and peering out. She has a couple of stuffies in there, but much preferred the tin foil ball I put in there yesterday, obviously, from her antics!!
AND the best part: not a single meow all night!! Yay!!
Danger_Dan, aw, poor kid, you have had a rough week...is it the season of busy times in your business? I hope it all slows down soon, Hon.
Loocie, I hope you get well fitted today and that it's much more comfortable for you going forward.
Happy b'day to your Hubby, Natalka, enjoy dinner with your family!
So GS and I made a "Secret Decoder" yesterday, so he knows what it's all about, but naturally my 27 pie-shaped lines didn't quite line up on the circles, so I printed a template out on photo paper so that it's nice and sturdy. The kids called from the TO airport this morning and his Mom suggested he make a new code for her every day so that when they get back she can de-code them all...he's pretty excited. We also played "Clue" last night with him. Not my favourite game, but he enjoys it so we all had fun..
Walkonby is MIA this morning? Probably still splashing around in the pool...
Avon, Dededi....have a lovely day!
Have a great day, everyone!!!

I had my appointment with the prosthetics clinic & i am feeling much more comfortable now. It was getting difficult getting around. I know my mobility will never be what it once was, but I will take this improvement. There are so many advances that are available now in artificial limbs, however our health care system will be a bit on the slow side of town when it comes to catching up & keeping a bit more up to date.
Have a great afternoon people.
