What I didn't like was about 2 or 3 days after the last spinal, I was released to go home, and I began to have these splitting headaches, but if I lay down they would go away... Turns out every time you get spinal, it leaks out some of our spinal fluid which sits around our brain... and that is where a headache comes from... So what I am trying to say is after every spinal tap surgery drinks lots of coffee and fluids.
Thank you for the suggestion, RNC, wrt drinking lots of fluids after surgery, for a few reasons; I hope I don't get those headaches, I generally don't get many of them. I won't be put right out, either, so more of an epidural with a mask to send me into la-la-land. I hope they send me so far into that land it'll take me days to find my way back!!

I should only have 2 sleeps in the hospital which is fine with me, I've seen quite enough of them; the faster I can get out, the better. You sure have been through the wringer, Charger, poor thing...Have you had your first physio, yet? It's quite amazing how one can go from hardly bending a knee to flexing nicely in a fairly short time. It's weird, though, Charger...I can't crouch down to look into a cupboard, for instance, because I can't bend my knee that way much, but laying in bed, it bends nicely when I'm laying on my side! Maybe I'm just afraid to do it when I'm standing up!!

hey Lynn....you're welcome about finding dededi!!
Aw, poor critter....looks like it'll be a Matthews kind of a season for you now...I'm not even watching tv; it's too scary to watch the game, and if I had to look at trump one more time I'd throw up.

I bought myself a pair of 3.25 glasses from Dollarama..I can read with them. I can't recall the last time I had such a low power of reading glass.

    Morning Folks!
My, after a really bad night on Tuesday, I have slept until now!
Cardinal is calling for me to get up.
DH slept all day yesterday and Isn't feeling well this morning.
Woke up with my pounding headache but Excedrine Migraine is doing it's magic. Got to get up and take poochie for her walk. Sounds like it's raining. It sure is chilly!
Darth- I am so glad your eye surgery went well and you can see so much better again.
Lynn, it's so great to hear you speak so enthusiastically about Christmas. What will be the theme this year? How about purple?
    Got to run.

Yes !! I agree 100% with you Redneck charger .. don't know why stores does this .. guess their afraid not going make enough money on their Christmas items .. so they put it out in august month at Costco then seems like all stores follow them by putting their items out then in September.. crazy crazy

Good afternoon Kids... Kinda slept in today, slept in till 9:30... Had to get up because the nurse was coming into checking my leg where I had the stitches... and put a new bandaid pad on my leg... The doctors want them to keep an eye on so I don't get another infection and start this road all over gain... I hope YOU are all having a most wonderful Thursday that you can..

    Hello all.
@Lynn49 - you never get use to surgery, so it's perfectly understandable that you're having some sleepless nights. 5 more sleeps, then you can focus on recovery.

@Darth Penguin - I'm so happy to hear your eye surgery went well. Enjoy the improved vision.

@Redneck Charger - Isn't it nice to get out and do those little things, which don't seem so little when you've been laid up. I know I felt fantastic just getting outside again. How did your physio go today. Bet you're in some pain though.

@avoncallingu - you've had a busy, rough, and emotional time lately, so it's nice that you could actually get a good night's sleep. Hopefully your DH will feel some better tomorrow. Now that his chemo has started up again, he's bound to feel the effects. With any luck, he'll adjust to it. Prayers for you both.

    @walkonby - all I can say is .......

    Hi, Sis!!

Oh, you know how much I love, love, love the Christmas season!! It just makes me happy! DH has checked and re-adjusted all the lights on the roof, put a new string on our cedar tree and is in the process of checking out our solar candy-canes that also go outside. It's much nicer than working out there in a snowstorm!!

Of course, I had to look at every single Christmas decoration at Michaels today when I picked up the wool; such beautiful things. I have lots here, but I just know I can fit at least one more thing in here for Christmas! If our Grandson agreed that it looked like Christmas threw up in here last year, I'll just have to do more this year!! And you know how much I loathe chatchki...but that doesn't count at Christmas!
Oh...and I'm a traditionalist....multicolour everywhere! I think that's why our Grandson is so when he sees our home; everyone does the all white thing which frankly...I find boring!!

Thoughts, prayers and love, always with you my dear Friend...
