I am cooking a big breakfast of this and that. Putting hashbrowns in the oven now that have been kicking around in the freezer.
Will make some pancakes (lots of mix and syrup to use up) eggs etc. Then I am on bathroom duty. Will do them all just to get them done and all the garbage out to the garage. Will do another load of laundry of odds and ends to keep up on it.

The oranges I bought at Foodland ($3.99 for 8lbs) are really nice! Im not really an orange eater but cut one up for DSs breakfast plate and it looked nice so did the same for mine. I got 19 large oranges in that box!

Good Morning Everyone,
So far today is going much better then yesterday did. I had tons of plans for yesterday but I woke up with a huge sinus headache and sever neck and back pain, not sure what was up with that but feeling better today. Also Mom was home sick yesterday which did not help my ambition.
So far today I have made a banana bread which is cooling right now. I have a batch of Chicken Parm Soup in the crock pot (love this recipe it has quinoa in it which means I can reduce the chicken and Mom doesn't notice). Next I want to put some Oatmeal in the other crock pot. The soup will be for lunches and the oatmeal for breakfasts.
Now I have to figure out what will be for dinner tonight, I am thinking maybe some lazy lasagna and maybe some ricotta pancakes for dessert. Not sure why or how but we have tons of ricotta and need to find something to do with it all.
Off to tidy up the kitchen. Have a wonderful day everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

I just went shopping at Wal-Mart. I used a Kellogg's toy coupon to get baby girl a toy doll stroller for free. I had purchased one for $5 second hand since I couldn't find them at Wal-Mart, but the one she sold me was broken. I don't understand people selling broken stuff without being truthful. I pm'd strawberries for $3/lb, SCOPed a 24ct box of Sunrype Fruit to Go bars, used $4 in coupons for Huggies diapers, $6 Huggies rebate with CO51. I also bought bought Dh a new pillow and a new click for the living room, both really needed to be replaced. Old Dutch chips 4/$9 and $2.47/lb seedless green grapes. Our twins are already in their high chairs eating strawberries and grapes. Dh just took our son out to run some errands and fix the plug on his diesel truck.
edit: I just ordered another CO51 cheque for $22. It says 15-30 days before the cheque will arrive. I receive my cheques s lot faster from Zweet and Caddle.Last edited by Angela273; Sun, Jan 22nd, 2017 at 03:39 PM.

Hi, everyone - hope you all had a lovely weekend. Weather was nice here, hovering around zero, and just a skiff of snow, so it was good.
Don't have much on the shopping list this week - but sent husband shopping to Sobey's - for chickens 4.39/kg which is a sale price around here - and it was the store grand re-opening.
He got four, but said the price was different - it was lower - 3.28/kg, worked out to around $5 per chicken.
I had forgotten to have him buy cough syrup, so he was kind enough to go back for that (Benylin 250ml, $3 coupon, $4 CO51) - and I had him get four more chickens. We only had one left in the freezer, so the timing for this was just wonderful.
Our son was over for supper - and we had roasted chicken pieces and lots of sides, so there were lots of leftovers to send home with him, along with another meal I had prepped for him, some veggies, fruit, and sausage.

Hello folks! My sleep meds are working and a woman from Pro Resp came today to make a suggestion about getting DH's CPAP machine to stop squealing and whining meaning I have to sleep in the front room.
So maybe tonight, I can even sleep with my husband.
Has Andit posted lately?
I don't know if any of you know 22Hicks - she usually hangs out in the Chat-a-Thon thread. She has wound up in the hospital and could use some support. If you check the Tea Room folder, you'll find a thread for her.
I'm going to head to bed. Hope you all have a good night's sleep!

For those that are interested and/or have purchased a new or used vehicle with the last 2 years from a registered dealers. The following provinces have all in pricing.
ONTARIO
ALBERTA
BRITISH COLUMBIA
QUEBEC
MANITOBA (effective June 1st 2015)
SK (I believe has also all in pricing)
You can go back to the dealership up 2 years after your purchase
Hopefully no one else has fallen prey to the dishonest ways of dealerships (sales persons) no offense to anyone who know someone that is a sales person as not all are dishonest.2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

Good morning, everyone.
Sorry for the delay in checking in, I'm back to being my usual crazy busy self (in a good way!). Enjoyed some interesting theatre (The Last Wife - need to see it again cause I can't decide whether I like it - great performances, set design, LOVE the chandelier at the beginning, but not so keen on the way the story is told), met up with friends I had neglected over the last few months (the theme of 2017 so far seems to be: eat, drink & be merry - diet is a 4-letter word), and have been so busy running around, that I still have furniture and boxes where they don't belong (you know there's a problem when I'm stepping over the cat's bed to get to the kitchen sink, sigh). The weirdest thing that happened was a fun outing to bff's high school mini reunion. Turns out I hang out with a young thespian whose mother went to school with D. How is it that in the third largest city in North America, there are only 2 degrees of separation??? And that's not the first time that has happened to me!
All is well with the critters, though I suspect Lily dog is fighting an infection. Might have to get to the vet in the next day or so if she doesn't perk up. Sigh. Quincy cat is his normal crazy self, although this dark gloomy weather is confusing his sleeping habits - he is now demanding breakfast at noon and dinner at midnight. None of us seem to have much by way of motivation these days (when midnight and noon have similar levels of low level light, ya know it's bad...or maybe I'm turning into a bat?).
Better go see what the sleepyheads want to do. Can't really put things away until the furniture is in place (friends are coming by either tomorrow or Wed to do the heavy lifting - let's hope I don't miss their call cause Lily dog is too busy flirting with a neighbour).
Hope everyone enjoys their day.
