So good to catch up on everyone's life.
As for myself, I need prayer because yesterday I twisted my right foot in a hole and it is in so much pain. On the bright side I don't notice other pain.

Aw, Skippers....I wish you felt better...prayers said...for you and everyone else on this thread. I know the pain our son was in at his worst, and although he looks quite normal to everyone now, it's the morphine that's keeping him sane....so I can certainly sympathize with others who are in constant pain and seeking that magic pill.....Blessings....Lynn

My brother in law is off all his meds--even pain meds He is in rehab now and is doing great! Still no movement in his lower half but is in a positive place now I saw him today and just wanted to cry ..because of how great he is doing

Gosh Skippy so sorry about the ankle, I think its a message you need to rest more. It made me laugh when you said it makes you not notice the other pains so much.
Abby I'm glad your bil is doing so much better so quickly, it amazes me how medicine has advanced through the years, hopefully he continues to improve daily.

Hi everyone-sorry I have been gone so much. I am very behind on how everyone is doing and I hope there have been some good days! I know there are alot of hard days but hopefully there are some good days also to carry you all through the tougher days.
As for me, I am still alive. lol Some days it seems that is about all the positive i have but some days are better than others and I can get out and enjoy myself some. I pay for it afterwards but just to get out and have some fun is nice to be able to do. Today is kind of in the middle of really tough and ok- so just sort of tough.
I will have to read through some pages maybe when I get a chance and see how everyone is doing. I did see the posts on this page and Skippy I hope your ankle improves what ever happened and Abby that is great news your brother is doing better. Is it ok if I ask what happened? ttyl

On the xray-you can count down 5 of the "square" bones and it is cracked in half! It is really his C6 but you can't see that far up on the x ray picture
