Oh I feel your pain I had a desk drawer fall on my foot a few years ago and the pain was so intense and the swelling was instant. My office insisted I go get an xray, nothing broken but it took awhile to heal. The hot water heater part I guess its something that needs to be special ordered?? I replaced our tank a few years ago that was a long few days without hot water, you don't realize how much you depend on modern convieniances until they break!! Try to stay possitive maybe there won't be a what else. Take care

X-Rays and blood taken to determine extent of arthritis.
Was in agony when I finally got home.
I'm saddened by the fact I can only function for 2 hours outside the home. I feel so limited, especially when I want to do so much.Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

Has anyone experienced thier feet burning?
I ask because I spoke to the Dr. and he suggested it could be caused by
nerves in another part of the body, affecting nerves in the feet.Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

Skippy I understand about the limitations most of the time when I go anywhere I have my dd or another adult with me because I can forget where I am just go into a fog and then I get lost and confused. I felt so old today trying to help my dd pick apples from a neighbors tree and I had to finally say let me be I need to try to be normal even if its just for a few minutes. My grandson is here looking after me this evening because I overdid it again UGH!!!
My feet feel like they're burning alot and as usual my dr says its diabetic neuropathy and if its too uncomfortable to soak them in tepid water, I'm not much help sorry you are going through even more.

My Aunt had this..they put her on a nerve blocker and she is great now and she still takes it. She does not have a lot of health issues though. They thought is was from shingles she had years ago but she is not sure--she did not have them on her feet! Sorry Skippy that is the best I can do.
The only time I had burning in my feet and up my calves was from my arches and when I got orthotics it went awayNew mom October 2014!

[QUOTE=Abby5;2374368]My Aunt had this..they put her on a nerve blocker and she is great now and she still takes it. She does not have a lot of health issues though.
I am going to check into this my sister's dr wants to burn her nerves around her pancreas because she has chronic pancratitis and is on so many pain meds they attempted to reduce her meds and she went into withdrawal I wonder if a nerve blocker would work for hershe again just got out of hosp and is waiting to see her specialist. I couldn't believe it when they took her off over 60 mg of morphine instantly and to replace that med for pain gave her hydro morphone 5 mg, and did not anticipate a withdrawal after 2 years of high dosage.
