Heard it on the car radio this morning as well. Not a great week for PC stores between this and the expanded baby food recall.

What, you both have not been getting emails twice per December and January to update your passwords and such? I did change my password in January and deal with the Captcha field each login now but PC Plus keeps sending the same darn email every so often.

Interesting to notice that being a penny under a dollar does not mean points for almost buying a $3 magazine. My 200 pts per $1 spent on magazines and newspapers resulted in 400 pts for my $2.99 magazine.
And yet the program may allow a penny under a round dollar to gain points on other products.
Got 1000 pts for buying Traditional Medicinals raspberry leaf tea (personal offer) and 600 pts for buying PC sparkling water (Blue Menu pomegranate -blueberry in 12can case). Not often I get 2000 pts on a modest purchase of 6 items.

Surprised it took this long, but I still think they are passing the buck since most of the sites hacked require 8+ character passwords

I knew they couldn't for PC Plus card holders, but those using a PC Financial card still could ... so you mean they have stopped this as well?

@Colsgirl I only havevyhe PC plus card and was able to redeem for gift cards up to last weekend

maybe it has something to do with stolen points as people are getting worried losing them and are wanting to redeem for gift cards as security.

Possibly, it is because they have determined that the stolen points were used buying gift cards.

My stolen points were used to buy goods, looked like just over $50 and then the tax on top.

I just shoot them an email about redeeming gc with points. I like pc gc more, so I can redeem for any amount I wanted.
