Hi Loocie!
Glad we are giving you smiles! I have been tearing up the highway for the last couple of weeks and got in a great visit to Florida, as well.

You know the song, "Trains and Boats and Planes?" Well, I still have to work in the "trains" part. I am preparing to put my condo on the market and move to Kitchener-Waterloo.

I can't really keep track of WHAT city I am in right now.

I hope each day brings you many smiles and peaceful times. I hope spring has found you. There are "Snowdrops" to be seen in the woods when I walk Sadie and crocusses out and in bloom in the lady's little garden who is in the lea of the building. Lots of bird songs.

Hello Loocie, my friend! What a beautiful day it was here today! I had more energy than I have had in a while and managed to get some significant purging done. Took a few walks in the sunshine down our lovely path and noticed lots of green sprouts. I think there are going to be some lily of the valley coming up. We hear and sometimes see a wide variety of birds.
I can remember when we first started walking there in the fall how foreign it all seemed versus my familiar back field where I knew where everything grew and where the heron would hang out and where all the groundhog holes were.
But now our new walk is getting familiar - which parts get sun at which parts of the day and where that broken tree branch that is just waiting for a major wind gust is teetering,
We saw a Canada Goose couple laying claim to a little part of the stream bank last week but that stream becomes a torrent so fast after a storm that I think that they have moved on.
Every day brings new sights - and isn't that what Spring is about!

I am wishing you all the new sights that Mother Nature sends us at this time of the year!

Hello, Loocie!

Avon is just bragging, you know, about birds and running streams, because she knows darn well that up here, we still have the odd (very odd, very black) bank of snow along the odd roadside. However! I have very high hopes that by Easter, all that nonsense will be gone. It had better be, or I'll be dragging my heat gun out and making sure it's melted for sure!
I hope it's springier where you are than it is here, it's been a dismal rainy day, and gosh it's gotten cold out there this evening.

I wish you birds chirping and streams running where you are and lots of sunshine days ahead, my Friend.
