Sometimes I wonder why people are so STUPID!
We run a small business, and sometimes people think because they buy something from once every two years, they are your best friend.
Today, one of those stupid people called (lives 2k away), calls to get some work done ---they missed the last appointment they made a couple of weeks ago.....
I explain that my DH, who he usually deals with, has just passed away a couple of days ago, and I temporary closed the business for 10 days......his response , so sorry to hear about that, does that mean we can get the work done?
I calmly respond, no, sorry. He asked did I know anyone else who could do the work?
really? I am suppose to care how his kids are doing, what his wife wants for Mother's Day.....but he did not even care to ask about the funeral plans.....
ok, I have ranted now, feel a bit better, and am going to go sit at our kitchen table and cry a bit in my empty house.

Aw I am so sorry to hear that; I cannot believe how some people can be so selfish and unempathetic

And just when I think life is getting back to " normal", the FIL has a heart attack. The docs say he has 2 blockages in his heart, infected lungs, a blood infection and his kidneys are not working. Plus the local hospital cannot handle cases like his so he is 1hour away and the MIL needs daily rides to see him.
I know I shouldn't say this but FML!!!

I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine the pain you are dealing with. We are here for you so rant away and know that the days will get better even if at this time it doesn't seem so. Huggs

Oh great, life just keeps getting better and better. Now my dad is in the hospital ( 45 minutes away) because he has stopped eating and has only left his bed for 1 hour in 2 days AND the MIL fell down getting out of our jeep. It just never stops around here
