gosh, avon, hoping that Sadie is going to be okay. Those ticks are such buggers - and I know it's hard to check over a whole dog when you come in from outside. (I have no dog, obviously, but know that family/friends who do talk about it).

Back after an extended long weekend.
Took Friday off sick...and yesterday as well...Friday for me, yesterday for my Lady...so not quite a desirable long weekend...ah well.

@avoncallingu , when I read that post by @GoodBoy , my eyes just glazed over and my brain just skipped over the whole thing, like it thought, "Uh-huh.......riiiiiight...." then it all went away.

Yesterday was a sickie day for me, too - some sorta tummy bug. Sure hope it's gone, too.
@Lynn49 - for some heat, head to Las Vegas - it's already 36 degrees there, going up to 46 today.

@Natalka, Ita, I can't take those high temps, either. I hide in the house when it reaches over 25 . At camp this past weekend it was so humid that I thought I was having a heart problem, it was so hard to breathe with my asthma and yes, I know it's a dry heat in Vegas....but I'd still be hiding indoors. Maybe at my age I need my creature comforts and that threshold is much narrower now.

19 today, 23 tomorrow....as long as the sun shines, it's perfect for DH and I, perhaps not for beach-bums..

Wow, we just had a wicked thunder storm roll through here. It only lasted about 15 - 20 minutes, but complete with marble-sized hail.
Now, the sun's back out. Crazy weather
