    It was our 4yr old son that requested to bake them. He's been helping me bake for the last 2yrs. All of our children fell to sleep right after supper, so they'll get to eat monster cookie squares tomorrow.

    Made two LARGE deep dish meat pies last night for the gang. Took the pkgs of veal from the freezer ( that I got very cheap at 40% reduced ), pressure cooked it first, then added the carrots/celery/onions and spuds. Flavoured with S & P, a dash of raspberry vinaigrette and 1 can beef gravy. Also used up 2 more of my boxes of those Dr. Oetker Pastry mixes.
    There's enough so I won't need to make the guys anything for their work meal on Monday!

    Homemade chop suey and rice - made with pork loin, and I have a boatload of veggies, so it's the perfect time to make it. Plus, our son is coming over and he loves it, and I always make lots so he has a few meals of it to take home as well.

    I used a new spice blend for me and cooked the chop indirect on the BBQ.

    Wow Mechman looks so yummy.. couldn't help noticing steak knife hooked into fork .. my grandfather told me when I was little girl .. next time you see blade on knife up like that ..first thing will come to your mind what He told me .. sure enough every time I see it ..I think about my grandfather and it came to me when I seen your knife then .
