yeah, @Lynn49 I am laughing at my adorable neighbours across the street wearing their " eclipse glasses " and holding their cameras. We are not going to get the darkness here, wonder if anyone told them??
That is why I watched the tv coverage from Oregon and other places in the US.
The first one was at 10:16 this morning. The crowds there all applauded when the skies went dark....ha ha.
Kind of silly but so nice to see a big crowd of people and no one is fighting for a change!

Oh for sure. Dream or not, if your in it it's real to you and can be pretty scary. I always wake up and over-analyze them saying I should have known it was just a dream. But, of course, you don't.
Only sweet dreams tonight Lynn.
I always dream that I am going to eat some delicious food or get something fabulous. Then I get mad because I wake up and didn't get it, lol.

Good Day, all

My husband came home from the hospital yesterday just after supper - he's glad to be home, and I am sure glad to have him. He actually looks pretty well, is mobile, and doing quite well. The surgeon and doc are pleased with his progress.

The surgeon said his was the biggest aneurysm she has ever dealt with, so he holds the record, oy! She said the repair should be good for at least 25 years.
He won't need any home care, since there are just two bandages (either side of groin!) from where the surgery was done, and he's on no meds other than Tylenol for pain.
He said he's not really in pain, just very uncomfortable. He can't sit for long, needs to be reclining or standing.

So, on with the healing! Thanks, again, everyone for your positive thoughts, caring, and prayers.

Yesterday, I went to the doc for myself - seemed such a selfish thing to do when all this is going on with my husband, but it just hurts my heart that I've not been well to take care of him...
Got some stronger antibiotics, and will be going for some further testing.

Good soggy, rainy morning everyone!

No nightmares last night, @TooCouponCrazy , in fact DH just asked me if I heard the thunder last night and the house shake this morning at around 6am and nope, I must have been in a coma!! I love thunder, but nope, nothing. Scary actually, knowing I could sleep that deeply!
@22hicks , those puppy eyes get me every time and Doxies have that look perfected! When Jenny sits near me on the sofa and does that, I say, "Oh, .honey! What can I get you? A new car? A bunny to play with??" It's that look! I melt.
@Natalka , how nice that your Hubby is home now, it must be a relief for both of you to be together again. I miss my DH even when he's golfing for heaven's sake! It must have been hard not to have him home and particularly in those circumstances. So, he's on the mend. Now it's your turn to get well; I hope your new meds take you there, and Nat, there's nothing selfish about taking care of ourselves. If we're ill, incapacitated, we're unable to help anyone else, to be a real partner (and believe ne, I've been there!), so concentrate on YOU right now and get well soon. Keeping your family in my orayers, Hon.
