I agree kfc in canada has gone down hill. We go to the states at least once a year and we like to go to their kfc buffet.

Ordered from Santa Lucia, actually pretty good. Husband only eats dark, I eat both but usually end up eating white - and it was very moist so that was great. Not greasy at all, good kinda crispy coating, just a wee bit spicy.

Fries awesome, gravy a typical chicken gravy; the coleslaw was quite tasty, but the cabbage was cut too long and most pieces were thick. Biggest garlic bread I have ever seen, was good.

@Purdee the location closest to us was a holdout as long as they could, I guess. People would come from across the city to go there.

The last two buffets in Canada are in SK, neither near us!

Tonight's supper is leftover chicken, with whatever sides we can come up with from the fridge.

I so loved KFC but last 2 or 3 years its not fit to eat anymore ...prices is so expensive and dont even give you piece bread with your 3 piece dinner order and chicken pieces sooo darn small now .aparently you have buy bread if you wants it ..so now when im craving for chicken i go to Mary Browns ..seems like where ever you go ..every one is talking how bad KFC is gone .

This sounds interesting! What types of mushrooms do you use and do you make it in the oven? I’m super intrigued because we love all types of mushrooms.

Last night we had leftover broccoli cheese soup and garlic toast. Tonight I’m going to see Glass Tiger with friends and an early dinner at Boston pizza...it’s near the venue for the concert. I don’t know if dh has plans, but we have lots of food in the house, so he won’t starve😎
