My Cuisinart Griddler seems to work great! We went out so DH could buy something earlier, and spotted the postman parked on the side street, so we waited, sure enough he had it.
I tested it out tonight on burgers, works very well! I especially like that you can remove the grills and put them in the sink to wash. It says they are dishwasher safe, but I have read reviews about the nonstick coating coming off, so I'm not going to do that. Besides, even after cooking burgers with bbq sauce on them, they were very messy but the mess came off really easily, put them in the sink with hot soapy water for just a couple of minutes then washed with a scrubby nylon sponge thing.
Tomorrow I will grill some paninis for DH and I for lunch.

It's Friday!! I have some crab to use up, so could make crab puffs ( cream cheese, Pillsbury crescents) wings, etc. And I have a bottle of Apothic Red itching to be opened.

Cabbage rolls! Made this recipe http://allrecipes.com/recipe/cabbage-rolls-ii/ and tweaked the sauce a little, adding extra of all the things to add except salt and pepper which I cut back on. I did a double batch in the slow cooker and have a half dozen little bags of 3 stuck in the freezer for whenever the mood strikes. Yum!

We have another BLIZZARD !! so in case the power goes I'm just going to take out some leftovers in the freezer, I have homemade beef stew and lasagna, so I can re-heat on the wood stove if we do lose our power. Nice & Easy!
