For a week (except over the weekend), I've been able to see 29-1 (FOX), 29-2 (TBD) and 29-3 (Charge tv-lots of old dramas) on our television. Fairly exciting (CHiPs-see Chris Pine's father, Robert, as the sergeant)! There's a James Bond Day on Oct. 5 on Charge. Not familiar with the station but I admit to being thrilled to getting US stations, since PBS is not available so far on our over the air dish. Wish I was able to get 291 when episode 6 of BH 90210 was airing because there were signal issues with the one Global station (now get it on 23-1 as well as 41-1 but 6-1 and 17-1 have not worked in over a month).
Funny, when I put a postal code close to my address, Charge's search window says it's not available. Hmm, that's curious.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
We did our shopping after work last night, not going to lie Costco ended up costing a lot more than I had planned to spend, but in the end it was good. We bought a lot more than planned but it was becomes items we normally buy at Costco were on sale making them a better deal. As well because of this I did buy a few extra things because I do not think we will be back to Costco soon. We got:
1 package of Chicken Breast (was going to wait till next shop)
1 package of Ground Pork - works out to $1.5?/lb, so much cheaper than the grocery store
1 package of Ground Beef - Sales for $2.97/lb
1 package Portobello Mushrooms - So much cheaper than the grocery store
1 package of Romaine hearts - So much cheaper since no one has on sale
2 packages Cream Cheese (3 packs) $5 something worked out to less than $2/package which is what I pay on sale
1 package Bacon (4 packs) - Better Quality than Grocery Store
1 Cesar Dressing - Cheaper than Grocery Store
1 package of Naan - Great Price and so useful to have on hand
2 x Worestshire Sauce - Cheaper at Costco and was on Sale
1 package Sour Cream (2 pack) - Same as grocery store sale price
1 package - Facial Tissue - On Sale
Then off to the Chinese Market and I was surprised they have expanded and added an additional room. We got:
Cherry Tomatoes 1.5 lbs - $3
Mushrooms - $1/pack
Napa - $0.38/lb
Green Beans - $0.68/lb
Yellow Beans - Marked down to a $1/package
Cocktail Tomatoes - Marked Down $1/pack
Snow Peas - Marked Down $2/pack
Golden Delicious Apples $0.78/lb
Vegetable Oil $2.88
Oyster Sauce 2/$5
Hoisin Sauce $1.88
My kitchen is now over flowing with Food so will start to deal with that tonight. As well still some groceries from last week that need to be moved to the basement. Plus I feel like I forgot some stuff we got. All and all super happy with our shop and hopefully next week will be a light week to make up.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Running around on my lunch...GT- Grabbed a 3pk of Men's socks for DS. Youngest has now requested short socks for his Vans lol. I have a bunch in the Christmas box for his brother but didn't feel like digging them out. Will get him to try on tonight and if he likes them will go buy more.
Banking- Had an expense cheque from work kicking around in my wallet- Finally deposited it. Also deposited a chunk of cash and put a payment on my MasterCard to cover an upcoming purchase.
Got Gas... 108.9L Could be better. Could be worse.

@cath007 Yikes on the samples missing--may they turn up soon or at least some of them!
In yesterday's Toronto Sun, there was an article about a nutrition app from France that is available in Canada. You can take a photo of a food dish and you'll get nutrition information. https://torontosun.com/news/national...-app-foodvisor
The basic app is free; the premium version has a monthly fee and offers extra features.
For between $5-$10 more a month, there’s a premium version of the app that allows users to connect with nutritionists, select a tailor-made diet plan and receive tips and recipes.
In Ancaster, the sky poured rain some 15 minutes ago. Kind of grey and dark but I'm fine. Had a sandwich and iced tea at Starbucks nearby so lunch has been done!Last edited by Ciel; Tue, Oct 1st, 2019 at 04:40 PM.

Well... It's finally happened. I got another job! Although I'm gonna be tired all the time, this will help me to bring a lot more into my budget and pay off debt A LOT faster than I already am! I have a friend who works at a Mcdonalds here in St.Kitts, so I applied online and he got the hiring manager to look my application over. I saw him tonight and he told me the job is mine, the interview I have to have is just a formality. So I will be working my nights at the Superstore, and some of my days at Mcdonalds in the kitchen.
By some basic calcs, assuming I work the most I can, my debt repayment will work something like this;
Line of Credit; Paid off by the end of November (Was at $8,xxx in June)
OSAP Loans; Was going to be paid off by about April 2022... With the extra income... give or take September 2020, ALMOST TWO YEARS SOONER! But in general, a lot less time in repayment than most new grads
EDIT; OSAP is currently sitting around $29,xxxLast edited by johnb56789; Tue, Oct 1st, 2019 at 10:03 PM.

I used 10$ in PCO yesterday...
Yesterday, I went to MH had an meeting with psych doc and new case manager and her student. I have to pick up more pills I have to do that tomorrow after my appointments. I had a parcel notice in box yesterday to pick up after 1pm today. I think I bring my granny wagon to collect it. I wonder if it’s bulky and heavy?!?!
I moved an appointment from today till tomorrow after another appointment I already have booked tomorrow.
