That dog vid is so cute, and he is SO handsome!
Hope you all are having a good recovery day!
@avoncallingu - so sorry about the loss of your family member.
Nurse just left, rebandaged my blister leg after cleaning it and giving me a great lotion massage to my leg and foot - felt like a spa day!
Wound looks really good, still some draining at the bottom. I knew something had changed because it stopped hurting last evening and all day today.
Other checks were all good, except my BP is low, she said probably from me not eating much.
So last night, our son came over and we ordered to go from a restaurant who advertised a full turkey dinner, so I could satisfy my craving and the men could have something else. Milan had a hot turkey sandwich (he doesn't like dressing) and husband had veal.
I was so looking forward to this meal - but I could not eat. Tasted the stuffing, could only taste herbs. Nothing else had flavour. Now, my son said the turkey meat was nice and juicy, gravy was wonderful - I also had mashed and coleslaw.
Tried a few more bites, then just couldn't do it.
Later I tried pumpkin pie and real whipped cream - could taste the spices only.
I was so so disappointed...
Today I had an orange and strawberries which both tasted fine. Are a piece of garlic toast for lunch, then tried a few bites of the pumpkin pie again - I could taste a little of the pumpkin today. Good thing I sent the pie and cream home with Milan.
I will try the turkey meal again for supper.
Had a good talk with the nurse about all this stuff, too. Just no answers.
Hoping you all have a lovely evening!
Such a sweet little one!

Wow, Dan, that makes a great start to your day!
Good morning, everyone!
Well, I had extreme leg pain last evening and overnight. You know, the day before it was cleaned and redressed, the pain had almost all gone - so I am thinking as it heals and gets drier, it doesn't hurt as much. But of course I understand that it needs checking and cleaning, new meds put on. Hoping I can handle it better today - yesterday I kinda lost it, husband felt badly because there was nothing he could do - but he did, he massaged the upper part of that leg, and stayed with me til the bouts of crying lessened so I could get a few hours of sleep.
Sigh, hope everyone's day is bright and fun!
Hugs to you all!

Good drizzly, dark, damp morning, but keeping my shiny side up, still alive and kicking, so it's all good!
It feels like a soup-making day, so I'll probably make up a big pot of soup and bring half over to the kids'; DD is just getting over a flu day yesterday, so I'm sure she'll enjoy soup after work.
Enjoy your day, everyone! At least you're not Felicity Huffman heading into 2 weeks in prison! Such a surprise for her! Ohhhh, just wait until Lori Loughlin gets an even better surprise!

Soup's on! Omgosh, the house smells so yummy! I texted our SIL to bring home a big loaf of bread because we're sending our homemade chicken/rice and everything else that's nice soup over for dinner. Or, if dinner's planned...another time. I put in lots of fresh ginger and garlic to give their immune systems a wee boost. Perfect for a rainy day.
Now it's time to relax....hope everyone is having a really good day, too!!

What a wonderful explanation that is, @Lynn49 !
Leg pain subsided early aft, so I was able to have a bit of a snooze.
My home care doc called this morning to check how my nausea and eating have been. They really can't find anything else, so she is having me decrease the dosage of the methotrexate I take once a week.
Hoping everyone has a peaceful evening!

Busy few days but it’s good. Spin class today and laundry. My credit is improving and I was able to upgrade my iPhone for free. Hope everyone has a good night.
