good afternoon folks.
This morning I attended my second to last physio workout for 2019!! hallelujah!
Will be returning on the 27th to try and plank and squat my way out of all the yummy Christmas foods I am certain to inhale.
Hope everyone is semi-prepared for the big day on the 25th.
I was supposed to get more of the meal prep done after physio today, but once I turned the key into the house, my nose found the kitchen and my hands found the fridge door, then my legs discovered the recliner downstairs.....all this discovery!
I could be declared an explorer!
Have an absolute wonderful next 2 days everyone, I'm being forced to use DH computer as mine seems to be in a Windows Update marathon. ( 71 of them to be exact! ) The screen said the computer will restart in TWO days! Yikes.
Whenever they would inform me of a Windows update I thought it was a " suggestion " , but it always happened when there were no puter geeks here to assist me and I'm nervous to just click on things willy nilly.... so I just kept ignoring them.
DS just shook his head, he knows better than to make fun of me this close to gift time!!

Good day!
I know you are all very busy, but I hope you take some time to catch your breath - and look out for yourself along the way!
Have a marvelous Monday!

Unsure whether I had posted this before or not.
What an expression, poor Kitty...

Hi!
Catching my breath here, @Natalka .
I lied.
I have everything done except for the food I'm contributing to Christmas dinner and I'm bored!!! I found something I thought could keep me busy early today and tomorrow, but when we got to Michaels, the line-up was all the way to the doors! So we just picked up our DD's two latest certificates for work and shot out of there. I don't need anything that bad...in fact when we walked in my DH said, "wow, look at the line-up' and my eyes went to where the line started at the cash registers and ended at us! I said, nope...I don't need anything that badly, and the people in line heard me and laughted...
DD asked us to pick up gift tags, blue and silver or else "it just wouldn't work with everything"...definitely not looking at Michaels, nothing at HomeSense, so finally the dollarstore came through with a sheet of sticker tags from which she could pick out the silver, blue and white ones. Mission accomplished!
I hope everyone is finally home and relaxing...enjoy the evening and GO PACKERS!!!

Hope everyone is doing well and getting all their stuff done heading into Christmas. Went to Sudbury with my aunt to accompany her for a doctors appointment. Spin class completed sun and mon. Now tomorrow I have 2 spin classes before taking 2 full days off for Christmas.

what an awesome day! Got so much done and once I splashed some white wine into a recipe I was working on I found myself reaching up for a wine glass....everything is coming together!!
This afternoon my heart skipped a few beats watching that Leaf game against the Hurricanes. Imagine being up 3-0 in the first period only to fall behind later! The Leafs comeback win was almost as incredible as the Raptors was last night!!
Atm, the Raptors are behind in the 3rd quarter but maybe they'll pull out another win!!

Um...perhaps it's the wine, @walkonby , but are you not keeping track of the really important game?! The PACKERS are playing! 10-9 for the bad guys.

My friend Shirley and her dog MAX came over and we walked over to Boston Pizza for supper. Shirley was scared to death to cross over at the round-about but we crossed safely. I had a gift certificate. Both our meals were delish!
Then we exchanged gifts, but she didn't want to open them until until Christmas.
I have not finished wrapping and am hoping for a parcel tomorrow for my BrotherR. We have a lot sing-song tomorrow then over to my BrotherB's for supper and then church.
Sleep well!

@Lynn49 my aunt still isn’t great. She has an eye infection which isn’t getting better. She’s taking this med 5 times a day and hopefully it helps within a week. She’s a little tired but we’re still going to my cousins for Christmas Eve and Christmas.

Had to run to a couple of places yesterday. Took DS with me. Went through the drive through at Tim Hortons and found out that the person in the car ahead of us paid for our order. How nice! First time it's happened to me, although I've heard of it quite a bit. Then stopped at the Indigo and found the last remaining copy of a book for DH. No other stores in my area have it. Went to pay and the lineup was at least 30 long. I stood there for about 10 seconds when I hear a little voice behind me whispering: "If you go to the children's register, there isn't anyone there." A sweet little old lady was standing there trying to not start a stampede.. lol. Bless you sweet little lady, I'd still be standing there if it wasn't for you. I'm going to have to remember to pay the coffee forward one day but I don't go through the drive through all that often.
