Last night, I made myself do laundry during the cheap electricity rate though I used the vacuum during suppertime (well after supper) to more quickly get the kitchen floor cleaned. Also vacuumed some totes and then did the living room. Had a big mug of tea too. Ate mac & cheese with spices for a big meal.

Youtube app did not crash after 10 pm so I could watch last third of film and have a good cry too. Glad I finally saw the whole film.

This morning-I indulged the blah feeling and did not get out the door early. I am aware of the reasons for feeling like this despite lovely sunshine streaming in the windows!

Pinterest-added stuff to three boards plus made a Baby Yoda board (some funny things online plus merchandise *wants, not needs*). Discovery-Simons is selling a few Ricardo branded kitchen items via some stores or online!

The afternoon calls for plenty of tea, patience, and a good lunch to help my patience along.

More Ricardo news- SCers living near Longos stores: new flyer shows the Ricardo pressure cooker on sale for $99 and change, plus if you have a TYR card, you can enter to win 1 of 10 Ricardo pressure cookers. Have to see the Personal Touch staff for contest rules! Had no idea about Longos selling the Ricardo appliance...gradual spread of retail vendors selling Ricardo merchandise!

I did all my dishes except what I left soaking in my bathtub. I’m tired. I am waiting until I have my appointment with case manager at 3:30pm. Which is at my house. I was embarrassed by my dishes so that’s what prompted a full scale attack. It took me 2 1/2 hours to do them all.

I met Hayley finally she came over to support me in having a shower. I didn’t know that was her reason for coming over I had to quickly clean my tub because I left all those pans in there soaking. She asked me how I felt I said very triggered. But didn’t go into much more then that and got up and left. I feel like my voice wasn’t heard, As usual. Now I am left with residue feelings it doesn’t make me feel better about myself it actually makes me feel worse. Bandaids they put on gapping wounds. My problems grow bigger not smaller.

Twin boy is doing well. He is full of energy and doesn’t have a headache. He did NOT sustain a concussion. He is protective of that area of his forehead, but that’s a good thing.

It’s hard to believe that February break is almost over. We’ll be back to school on Monday.

I cancelled my satellite radio today, I loved my satellite radio for long drives and they pushed hard to try and keep me. The last offer was 5.00 a month but we have a family Spotify plan and my drive to the train station is 10 minutes a day so it was time. I am really trying to be laser focussed on retirement so this just adds to that even if it was only 5.00 a month. I wont lie I am going to miss it & I told the kids I will torture them with Bee Gees an the long drive to Gramma's.

Yes, that phone book listing change was not free (now I understand why phantom or closed stores still have phone listings in the book where other businesses are located).

I got lectured about not asking her in advance of the effort I made to change the listing. I explained that it made sense to do the change but at no time did I ask the rep about the fee (or whether there was one). Anyhow, the upside is that sibling paid the bill online.

I'd love to know what SCers outside of Ontario are paying for changing phone directory listings in their province or territory with their landline provider.
I was quoted $69 to change the initial on a phone listing, and said no. Cogeco Ontario.

My Keurig machine died this week, I won it in a contest in 2007, and am already feeling withdrawal symptoms. I bought instant coffee and will keep checking to see if the machine goes on sale at Canadian tire, as I can't justify spending $119 plus tax at the moment.

The recycle pickup people put both of my large bins on top of the each other and I can't separate them.....any tricks, tips on how to separate them? I tried bringing the bins into my house to see if maybe they were frozen, but I still couldn't separate them. Grrrr.

I also lost a possible 10,000 pts from Shoppers, as I didn't realize if you redeem points, that affects the subtotal. Noticing it's harder to collect bonus points as I rarely meet the terms for the bonus points. And I heard that Shoppers might change the seniors age from 55 to 65, as they are apparently losing money? I hope not but if they do than I will shop at Rexall instead and hopefully they will have a decent bonus program.

    Good Afternoon Everyone,
I am working from home today as honestly I am a little overwhelmed. I think good things are coming my way at work but this also means I have a lot on my plate. A lot of my concerns were addressed in my performance review which is good but it means a lot of work for me. There are many parts of my job I have never really been empowered to take charge of. Honestly at work I have felt held back as my previous boss did not like my role and held me back. As well in general he held me back, he always reminded me I was the girl and that the boys can get away with more than I can and that is just how it is. So I have always tipped toed well doing my job. The good news is my new boss feels being a girl or not I have the knowledge and can step up and do not need to tip toe. It is good but it now means there is a lot on my plate and a lot of stuff to get done to show just what I can do in my job.

Also a little overwhelmed at home, I have been cleaning but mostly just day to day cleaning that needs to be done, I have not been tackling any of the bigger projects which I am feeling a bit guilty about. I think I am fighting something off still, I just feel so worn down so it is taking everything in me just to get through the day so I really feel I am falling behind. I have been fighting a headache almost all week and in general I sleep but I am just so exhausted and now today I feel very congested.

With this being said, I am torn about this weekend. Part of me is like okay your slacking with your cleaning you need to get your butt in gear an clean, clean, clean. But the other part of me is like I feel like crap maybe I need a weekend on the couch with some Netflix but well your watching Netflix you could be working and get some project layouts done that can be presented to management.

I also want to get some cooking done this weekend so I think I might try to lay out a plan tonight, maybe see if I can find some stuff I can just throw in a crock pot (we do have 3) and just let it go well I get other stuff done.

Alright well I better get back to work to see how far I can get today.

    Have a wonderful day everyone.
