Has anyone tried a hand sanitizer in a tube "Wish" brand? I saw it at No Frills a few weeks ago but didn't know if it was any good.

Good Evening Everyone,
We tried Instant Pot Spagetti and Meatballs for dinner, it was okay, it tasted good but it came out quite liquidy. I think next time I would either add more pasta or less liquid as it was more like soup vs a sauce.

Mom has decided the Instant Pot is the greatest things right now which is weird as we have had it for years and she has never shown interest. She has spent the last hour looking up Instant Pot recipes and asking what we can make for dinner tomorrow night.

I did not get the air conditioners installed, oh well I think we will be okay with just fans.

I did reorganize the chest freezer, everything is now in bins and easy to get at but I did not make much room which concerns me as my plan was to buy quite a few packages of frozen fruits and veggie this month. Although, I still have not found a time we can go grocery shopping yet.

It has been an insane day, I cannot wait for bedtime.

Well hubby decided we are not putting our central air on (as we are only having 3 hot days ),just showered and pretty sure I am having a hot flash ontop of being hot -ahhh the joys of menopause .

We ate out on the back veranda tonight ,it felt romantic bbq burgers fresh corn on cob and French fries ,neighbour yelled over what no steak -nope .

We were down to one inch of hand soap (we did have an extra bottle of dish soap if needed). We were not able to find any on our quick trip grocery trips and did not want to go to stores on the hunt. I phoned my mother, who I knew would make it her life mission until I had soap (lol). She needs things to do to keep her mind off of things. So she called all her favourite small town pharmacies (we also live in small towns) from cruising in the Mustang convertible until she found the one with my soap and drove out to get it. Gotta love mothers.

I got to talk to my Grandma for the first time in 10 or more weeks! So wonderful. The call got distorted (FaceTime), but now I have a weekly call with my hero. Loved seeing her. We have the next one on Wednesday.

Since DH's back to work plans have changed, we have invested in a 3D printer and he plans to do work with that as a side gig while we launch a new branch of a local church online. The district is telling its pastors that co-vocation may be the way of the future. So DH decided to launch a business, lol. He has a plan to make the money back fairly quickly so we will see how it goes. I guess there is a high demand for vintage toy parts and he is into that.

My garden veggie are sprouting up nicely. I can now identify plants from seeds including m radishes, beets, Swiss chard, yellow string beans, peas, and dill. My rhubarb plants were sprouting a lot of flowers, so I got to work and ripped the flowers out. All of my tomato plants were planted this morning and they each have a protective plastic (cut from yogurt containers) ring to hopefully keep out any cutworms. It has worked very well for me over the years. I sold part of my big chive plant and the remaining plant looks good and healthy. I’m still waiting for potatoes, carrots, and zucchini plants to sprout up.

I respond to someone’s wanted ad today and made a $10 sale.

Between gardening, playing in the yard, and going for a bike ride, I was outside with the kids for 3hrs today. Our week is a nice temp in the low 20s. Next week is supposed to shoot us back to around 30C again.

I received a reply back to one of the emails that I sent to a school division last week. I interned in that school division. They have filled all of the teaching positions that I have applied for so far. Good to know, but still discouraging.

I have found a few more teaching postings and I’m continuing to apply.

My $80 sale went through. Adding the cash to the envelope from sales last week. Hopefully i will post more for sale tonight.
I need to go through my summer clothes tonight. Totally getting rid of old stuff amd getting it out of the house. If i don't love it then its gone.

morning all, it will be a mostly inside day. i have stuff to keep me out of trouble inside
my strawberry plants are due today, so is my tea order, and 1 thing from amazon. lol i am hoping the plants are in good shape, i am a tad concerned about them. i will be taking pictures. i am hoping to get them into the ground tonight.

we have insane heat for another day or 2, good opppertunity to finish off house stuff. i need despartly to work on the yard, but it is simply to hot out.
ok, time to get up and move my tush.

my peach tea is coming today, it will be nice to have a good peach iced tea

Welllllll.... Another night of "hell" or as my manager calls it "fun" at work... We had over 2,500 cases worth of product to stock and 7 skids worth of cases of pops and waters last night and 9 people to do it... We "finished" stocking at 7am and finished cleanup by 7:16am (Finished stocking with 2 skids not worked and 60 cases left on stocktrucks for day staff to work)...

It was a busy and crazy night... But it's the job I guess...

I am working in the office this week (we are rotating) and it is hot in here. I tried just airing out the place yesterday but I was just a hot mess by the end of the day! So I turned the AC on as soon as I walked in this morning.
Came in early so I can tackle tons on my list. Nice to just leave my stuff on my desk at the end of the day (instead of having to clean up the diningroom table)
Made 3 mason jar salads last night so that is my lunch the next 3 days. Also fresh strawberries and a yogurt for my afternoon snack. Should be a good day at work since I have good food

Tonight I am cleaning out my tall dresser. I have drawers I just don't open because they are stuffed. Hopefully I find lots of treasures! I have 2 empty boxes to pack up with the stuff that has to go.

Morning hot hot out there humidex of 38 to 40 I heard today .So I am wearing a light dress.
So glad I got my 2 tomato plants at 8.00 a.m yesterday as my neighbour said his wife in the afternoon went to 3 different nurseries plus fortinos and they are all sold out.

Went online this morning to look for shortie sleep pants ,expensive at the gap and old navy $27-45,joe fresh was all sold out in my size ,oh well once the air is on in time I wont need them so I guess the one pair will do ,as I don't care to wear a mask and look for clothing in stores.

Did a load and hung it out of the other bedding and now the towels are in the wash .

I know you aren't a fan of GT clothing (either am I) But I bought the cutest little tank top with shorts sleep set. The material is wonderful, very soft and light. When I wash it I hang it to dry. Besides being too big (next time I will buy a size down) I love it!

I was surprised yesterday when we went shopping at Costco that they were handing out the blue disposable masks and strongly encouraging people to wear them-that is new. Most people did wear masks.

Good Evening Everyone,
Oh my what a day, we are vey busy at work which had me running in various directions all day keeping up with the requests coming in.

After my 2 morning meetings I decided I needed a break before my afternoon meeting. I cleaned out the fridge, we had a couple of things to be tossed but all and all our food waste is way down since we have both been home. I took our the garbage and recycling, wow was that a hot walk, it isn't far but the heat was almost unbearable just for that short walk.

We also moved some stuff around in our living room so we could bring the fan up from the basement, I gotta say Ductless AC is looking better and better. I also set up the portable AC in the bedrooms. I did not sleep well last night, not sure if it was the heat or the events of yesterday but if it was the heat I have fixed that issue.

Mom called the Doctor today but did not hear back, hopefully she hears back tomorrow.

I have been doing some soul searching recently, this lockdown has not gone as I had planned and although they are not discussing us coming back to office yet I just need to change some things. Lattely due to our shopping once a montha and eliminating take-out I have had to become more creative and I am really enjoying this. Years ago I used to make so much of our food vs buying, I tried making Yogurt (not my finest try but I never finished trying to master it), Granola, Bread, Buns, Ice Cream and more. I have decided I want this back, I want to go back to this, we rely way too much one store bought packaged food and I want this to stop.

Alright off to relax a little bit before bed, there are a ton of things I dd not get done today but I am just done for the day so I will get up tomorrow and dive head first into that to do list.

I completed 2 coupon trades today.

I spent 3hrs outside with my kids today. I spread mulch leaves around my tomato plants this morning. I don’t usually use mulch, but thought I’d give it a try this year. Our grass isn’t looking that good in the front yard and it has extra dandelions this year. I dug some of the dandelions late this afternoon. I’ll continue to work on it.

I made chicken veggie wraps for supper tonight. I now have some leftover chicken breast that I can eat tomorrow. Eggs don’t sit well with my stomach, so I try to limit eating them.

Welllllll... It's been an interesting past few days at work that has lead to (We believe) one of our coworkers quitting...

Last night, one of our coworkers was scheduled to come in but didn't, I heard from others that he got into an argument with our manager, and started yelling at him the night before (Friday night)... We believe this all started becuase he is unfortunately a homophobic individual... And he found out about me being gay. Apparently he didn't like that, and started to talk to others behind my back telling them how horrible of a worker I am and that he is so much better than I will ever be... That is what the argument on Friday night was about, but my manager proved him very wrong about that fact... Something he was waiting to do for a very long time (Pretty much since this one coworker started...) So we will see what my manager has to say when I see him next on Monday (Since I'm sorta stuck in the middle of all this crap that's going on...)

It has been a lot to deal with, but I hope it is all over soon...

Forgot to provide an update to this...

Well, that coworker is just gone now. He did have more shifts scheduled after that incident and just didn't show up. So he quit the job. My manager didn't really have much to say, just that he is glad that guy is gone...
