Morning gang.
Had to take an emergency sick day yesterday...could barely move around.

Turns out I tweaked the wrong muscle group in my neck and shoulder (uber rare and super fluky, according to the massage therapist). Guess I might have overdone it the night before shovelling gravel and prying up out old driveway railway ties...who would have thunk it...

Feeling well enough to move around and work today.
Hopefully I'll feel back to normal soon...this ant has a lot to do before the winter!

Good morning everyone!!!! Yes TGIF!!! I have a few errands to do today as well as grocery shopping.Father will desinstall the ac this week end,i dont think we will have a hot wave temperature for now.

Hope everyone has a good day. Had to skip the gym today because I’m kinda worn out but I’ll try later or tomorrow. Been trying to find a bunch of low calorie meals and I found some good wraps, salads, and desserts/snacks. Just 7lbs away from 200lbs and I hope I get there soon lol.

Parts of me that I didn't know I had are aching. Lots of walking over the past few days. Got many bargains! Must wake up! Very chilly morning. Definitely feels like fall but sunny!

I'm so very sad about Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg! Apparently, the appropriate wish for her, since she was Jewish, is, "May we remember her with honour." (Or something close to that.)

Mitch McConnell, on the other hand, is anything BUT honourable!

I could snooze off again, but, "Miles to go before I sleep, and Promises to keep."

^^ @avoncallingu I could barely breathe when the news came in about RBG passing.
Her poor family, Yes she is and was THE most important lifeline for the Dems, ( Supreme Court imbalance inevitable now ) but I hope her family does not get news coverage describing her in that vein only.
So very sad, just so sad.

Its a very Chilly day out. I layered up before I head out for my morning walk at around 7am my hands was cold forgot to grab a light mittens. Have a few errands to do later . Have a book that is due on Tuesday so will do some reading. Have a great day all

Good morning my SC friends.
Another Cool day went for a quick walk this morning.

Now I am on doggy duty Thor had the runnings since yesterday not sure what’s going on but if it continues until tomorrow a trip to the vet is required . He is on the same diet so not sure what’s going on with him . He was diagnosed with diabetes a couple of months a go so we can’t take his food away from him. Hoping it resolve itself before the day is out.

ha ha ! ^^ @avoncallingu I was out in the backyard before 6 a.m. today ( in the shelter of the gazebo of course ) sipping a hot coffee and wearing DH's oversized slippers and his sweater. breathing in this crisp refreshing snappy cold air feels so good, as long as I have certain extremities covered up.
@flemeth I'll be thinking about Thor today. Poor guy, none of us needs the trots. Do you have to give him diabetic meds each day or is it controlled through his diet?

If anyone here is a closeted Scrabble fan ( like me ) and their family runs at the mention of having a game together, I have the solution!
First serve alcohol and some finger foods ( no greasy stuff ) , then say there is a rule change whereby you can use both profanity AND misspelled words if the justification can be made that phonetically is sounds passable.
Oh yes and we tossed the egg timer, " take as long as you want to figure out where to put that horrible non-word I said "
We did this last night and I am still chuckling at the end of the game the board looked like an illiterate nightmare!
But we played for 3 or more hours so I was very happy.

It's a b'day celebration today for DD! More food! ha ha
