Hope everyone had a good weekend. Yesterday I was bit of mess. Tired and my tummy felt off.
I feel so much better today! And even my ty work day can't ruin it. I'm just going to power through.
Will walk to get my car later (30 min walk all down hill) I dropped it off last night and walked home uphill
It was the walk I forced myself to do. It was a bit icy but it was a beautiful evening and glad we went.
Kitchen is clean. We are loading the dishwasher as we go since we haven't used it in weeks. Taking a break from washing dishes
Think it is a fend for yourself night for dinner. I am to swamped with work to think about it.
Have a great day!

Does anyone feel that Costco is getting junky? By that I mean the quality of products - cheap clothing? I bought a hoodie a while back and it is piling already. I used the clothes shaver but not much success. I wish there was more cotton in clothes - as you only have to worry about shrinking in the dryer but otherwise they hold up.
I noticed Costco has discontinued my parmesan chips (Whisps), I asked one of the employees and they said if Costco doesn't get particular pricing - they will discontinue an item, even if it is a best seller, which makes zero sense

It makes sense from CostCo's perspective. If they don't feel that they can make enough money from a particular product, they move on to another product.
What irritates me is how CostCo tries to promote their 'treasure hunt' concept, whereby there are items only found in some stores and on limited runs. They hope to get folks who are in 'fear of missing out' to purchase immediately. This means that each location has differences and you can't even find out if some things are in stock. I feel it is a bit arrogant to expect shoppers to come in each and every day to find those 'easter eggs'. Who's got time for that nonsense? My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

I missed some important weekend news. Thanks to Youtube, I saw CityTV's news segment stating that the Cdn retail chain Bed Bath and Beyond is going to shut stores down. If you have not already searched your gift card stash, plan to use any left over BBB gift cards stat or apply balances to someone's group gift item in a gift registry to zero out the card balance. If you were intending to use your ONe4All gift cards for a BBB purchase, do it online (apply to gift registry item that is marked "group gift") and thank me later. I don't recommend ordering anything online for delivery-better use the website to peruse your local store's stock availability prior to a trip.

I bought the last 2 x 4pks of delissio pizzas for DS at $9.94 a box. He can get his fill. Then doubt I will buy any frozen pizza for a long while.
Picked up more blueberries and cantalope at FB. Getting our fill of the fresh stuff at good prices. Maybe I will buy another pineapple on Wednesday. We still have 2 so don't want to go overboard.

Good Morning! Sunshine here

Another crazy work day but I am not going to stress about it. I can only do what I can do. All these hurdles (new program issues) are not in my control!
I was all ready to work through the night last night to finish one thing but was stopped at 6:30 after being at a standstill till someone does something they missed. It is what it is.
I dropped DS off at school and then popped in Walmart to grab a coffee at McDonalds. Took a walk around the store and found cottage cheese for .84 cents! (expires Feb 18th) So I am making lasagna tonight
Have everything else needed already so will be easy to whip together.
Will text oldest and let him know to pop by and grab some. (its one of his favs)
Will get out for a walk tonight. Loving this mild weather!

Organize your budget/money and then take a week of low/no spend. Plan to shop at home and use up what you have. I started cleaning out cupboards and realize we have so much stuff to use up that I shouldn't be wasting money on things when we have lots at home. You got this Cathy!
