Getting ready for March!

About the one of two things in March I'm excited about (yard waste collection resumes in Hamilton next week-WOOHOO)! The other thing is Easter chocolate treats.

Thank you @harbie for starting the thread!!! Wow time sure fly by ...already March....march 7 it is my father birthday...I will celebrate it the week end and he will go with his familly to a nice restaurant.

Happy March & Happy Wednesday, we have hit the halfway point in the week.

I woke up this morning at 4:45 and probably should have just gotten up but I decided to stay in bed until my alarm went off at 5. I swear the moment my alarm went off my bed got more comfortable and I did not want to get up, but work calls.

The new flyers have been posted, I have just looked at the cover pages but it does look like there are some deals to be had.

Plus I think I spoke too soon about Costco when I was looking at the hidden sales last night I see they have one of Mom's vitamins and allergy pills on sale so looks like a trip to Costco will be needed. We need to stock up on Allergy Pills for the summer. It is moments like this I wish Costco was closer so I could just run in.

My work week is almost over Just have the 2 days to get through and then it is early start to fun!

Dinner last night was fend for yourself. Cereal and crap. Ugh. Will make something good tonight.

Up at 6.30 a.m to be at sons for 7.00 a.m to drop girls off at school at 9.00(cutbacks i guess as they have them in the before program but one or 2 days a month there is no staff).

Put away the girls clothing that was in dryer and started a new load for them .

Then asked hubby to take me to sobeys on the way home to get luncheon meat and a few items

smoked turkey meat (old sign was up so she gave it to me for sale price)$2.73 for 6 slices
(2) mccains french fries 3.99-100 pts and 250 pts one was personal one offer was instore=$1.73 each
plus scooped a bag of chocolate pretzels rang up 4.99 cashier said that is the price usually,i said do you mind if i check cause i wouldnt pay 4.99.I think it was cheaper yes it was 4.49 =so free for me.plus other items .
Grapes were 2.48 a pound (really nice too)3.48

spent $60 got 400 scene points.

PC MC added 42,200 Pc points to my account. I think they made an error because I rarely used that card the past month. Maybe there was a promo I wasn't aware of?

Maybe you bought gift cards and the points came2-4 weeks later? Or some massive shopping scored you scads of points? RCSS and Loblaws seem to have had lots of PC Opt pts offers in flyers this year

Nope! They are Mastercard rewards no bonus points. And like I said I haven't done any big spending.

Today's last Internet session of the week is intent to get through digital flyers. Also about 6 receipt surveys to enter. Super keen to win a high value gift card to spree with. Got that shopping itch!

Also, I was restless around 5am. Ended waking by 6:30am. Guess I am doing the pre-clock change shift to DST. Decided I needed 2 Hungry Man meals for breakfast: turkey meal and backyard bbq. I love turkey-the other meal was ok but both times, there was corn with mashed potatoes. I love potatoes but corn is regulated to popcorn and tortillas/tacos for me. Going to miss this brand of meals when they disappear! $3.88 at Food Basics if you are hungry today (last day of deal).

Will trek in the melting snow to nab some fallen branches. Hoping tomorrow I can get a little raking done and bag the results!

Got my bank counter statement. Realized yesterday's shopping was transaction 13 for February and I will have 19 cents left after monthly service charge and extra transaction fee are taken out (not yet as per statement). Must stop back in bank to add some $ to account on walk home. Sigh. At least I know today.

Had to abandon the Walmart receipt survey near the end. Despite form indicating for contest to note desired contact (email or phone), form still wanted both-not optional. Did not need that effort. Got 3 other surveys done. Looking for more contests!

Ms. Sunshine is beaming so beautifully. The walk will be great later. Have 30min to Internet still!

Vey mild temperature today,what a change!!!!
My old computer have problems,good think I bought another one maybe 1 year ago grr for school but it will be my other things like coupons computer too
Asked the fidelity card for public harvest to have the chance if fulled to have gifts certificates
Took a break from my books and did 2 loads of laundry and hang up to dry
Dinner is another easy one,puff pastry pot pie cheddar brocoli chicken..very handy ...I should had bought more when in sale!!! with macaroni salad and gouda cheese.!!!
