Despite the fog I ventured out for the Xmas freebie from our high end Sunterra market. This year they gave a small jar of salsa and one of strawberry jam. I looked at meat while there-and decided against the $104 fresh turkey! Perhaps I could have splurged on a leg for $5.25.

Better yet I just read the attached label and if I return the empty jars I will get $2 back. My freebie is now a money maker!

That was my thought, too; that it had literally fallen off the back of a truck.

I'll wait until spring to test it. Any idea how to determine if it has been mixed or not? I took a sniff and it looked and smelled of regular gas. I could not detect any difference. Had it been mixed, I was expecting some discolouration. Otherwise, I might test a small amount in my mower.

    Found the answer on Google:

Take a brown paper bag and put the gas on it. If it leaves an oil stain behind, it's mixed.

    At RCSS

Bought 8 Party Stacks Pringles. Planned to pm only 4 of them to Walmart at $2.97, so I would get the 5000pts wus $15 on pringles, nutrigrain, etc, but the cashier was very nice and price matched all 8. Didn't get those points because digital coupons bring down the total.
Digital coupon of $1.5 came off for each,
Earned 1500pts per 2 (flyer offer)
    Used 3 x $1 coupons, and earned for 5 × $1.50 back from CO51

    MM 3.21

Plan for later today at No Frills:
4 poptart, 4rice krispies squares and 4 nutrigrain @$3 each
$1.5 will come off for each from digital coupons (limit 4 per item) *found the link in the PC optimum app*
Submit for $1.5 each for rice krispies squares, $1 each for pop tarts and $2 each for nutrigrain on CO51 (offers may differ)
Earn 5000pts for spending over $15 on these items

    MM $5

I did this shop at Superstore and got 5 nutrigrain bars and $7.50 went off, so for all of them. Not sure if No Frills is different
    Good luck

Yes, I noticed they have a limit on the NF offers, but not RCSS.
I think they may be reloadable though!!

    Classico Sauce $1.20/Jar after points.

No Frills has Classico on sale for $3/Jar and 1000 pts per Jar = $2/Jar

I had an offer for 4000 pts if I spent $15 on Classico (or other brands)

    $3x5=$15 $15-$5 (points per jar) = $10 - $4 (points for spending $15) = $6/5 Jars = $1.20/Jar

I was not sure this deal was going to work as I was looking at the offer as I checked out to make sure I spent the right amount, after they scanned my card it was gone and no points. I submitted a point inquiry and got my points.

Only downside is Classico is the latest to take part in Shrinkflation, jars are now 600ml, used to be 650ml.

I went to my local Pharmaprix to pick up some Dove Mens bars-travel size and used the $1.50 coupons to get 4 for 4$.
While there I was able to score some amazing deals - everything was liquidated and had another 50% off stickers.

    3 boxes of PC crackers
4 bottles of PC Butter chicken sauce
    5 bags of Goldfish crackers
    12 cans of Pink Salmon
1 box of PC Coffee Pods

    Total was $23.50

Brought everything to our local foodbank this morning. Love that, as couponers, we have a skill that can help others.

I have been eyeing some oversized mugs for months now from Kitchen Stuff Plus. They are normally $12.99, the did go on sale for $10/mug about 2 months ago but the price was only valid on 1 mug and I wanted all 5 designs.

Yesterday they were part of the 12-days of Christmas so I ordered them for $5/mug.

My subtotal should have been $64.95 but with the discount it came to $25, I saved $39.95.

Only thing was we do not have a Kitchen Stuff plus close to us and they are still using Canada Post (which did not matter as they weren't for Christmas) but I also noticed they have increased their prepaid shipping from $75 to $149 so we had to pick them up. Even though we would have been well below the $75 I was surprised to see they increased the prepaid minimum.

I'm on a prepay $10 per month on Fido. This will end on December 16 and we have to migrate to Chatr. I have to pay for every phone call or text with my balance so every month my balance increases by $10. I use Fongo for free phone calls. I don't text, I use WhtsApp.

Thing is, I have over $400 balance that I will lose when I migrate. There is a whole discussion on that other forum on what to do.

Long story short, my balance has been moved to Chatr and it will cost me $5 per month paid from my balance and I get unlimited phone calls and texts. This should lasts me over 6 years before I actually start paying again.

My kids plans were $100 per year and unlimited texts, not phone calls.

Now it's $5 per month or $60 per year unlimited texts and phone calls.

We are all very happy and grateful for those helpful tips but DH did all the communications with Fido, Chatr, Roger's, and complaints to the CRTC.

Can you elaborate on that deal?

Is it only for a supplemental kid's plan and requires a main other plan?

Walmart had 7x 2-litre cartons of micro-filtered milk for $1.67 each. Thank goodness for the return of frigid temperatures!
