Good morning
@walkonby we are not really a baseball kind of family but we do occasionally watch there games .but since the Went to play for the World Series we have been watching every game. My partner stayed up for the 18 innings game . I went to bed that night when the 10 innings finish. Hoping the bring it home on Friday.
I can imagine my nephew going and having a time of his life but I am not sure who he will be taking on Friday since he is a season ticket holder . I am sure he might want to take his 4 years old daughter or his partner

@walkonby I don’t know all the rules of baseball but I start watching about 3 months now . My DD know all the rules and she was mad that the Blue Jays blew there game. I can imagine how my 2 nephews maybe felt when the loss because the had some very nice seats and they are 2 of the biggest Blue Jays fans . I am sure The would be getting seasons pass for next year.
From watching the game My opinion is that they should have never let it get to a game 7. But in game 7 there was so much opportunities to win the game and the blew it. I feel very sorry for the die hard fans and some of the players

@flemeth there were missed opportunities here and there. You CANNOT leave runners on base over and over!
Next year ( thank goodness! ) that rule change comes in where they can challenge a bad call by the ump.
It happened to BOTH teams in game 7. How many times can you bite your tongue??
The heartbreak comes for those diehard fans ( like your nephews ) that attend the games in person.
Imho the Dodgers did not win, rather the Blue Jays handed it to them....gift wrapped!!
Still, I am grateful the Blue Jays gave us the most entertaining Season of all!!
What a roller coaster it was to witness this team they called " The Comeback Kids ".

It's back!! Work day Monday has reared its nasty head again. The extra hour sleep may not benefit everyone, hoping some of you are not affected by it.
DH and I have had our moment(s) of mourning over the loss to the Dodgers. Thinking about it all now I'll just say this, then I'll not bring them up again
until next season.
The sadness over the devastating loss can be overcome by celebrating who these players are and what they meant to the spirit of Toronto fans across the Country.
The crowd was silenced when Kirk's bat broke and that 3rd out was recorded, however by acknowledging the kind of incredible season our team had, victorious over teams no one thought they stood a chance against, then facing last year's WS Champs in the final ??
Those are the milestones that created Blue Jays fever. Most of us were so happy to have caught it!

Good Morning!!! TGIF and also what a great day, I just feel so pumped! Could have been the teensy tiny cup of black espresso I bought when entering the Loblaws store.
Nearly cracked up when I flipped off the lid to add some Stevia. I downed it in 2 sips. Even though that was an impulse buy it kicked in!!
Loblaws is never my store of choice but I wanted those pints of plump blueberries ( Peru ), the Ontario Sweet strawberries and the jugs of 100% OJ on sale. ( well, their sale...lol)
Found a 50% off loaf of sourdough and they were so kind to slice it up for me.
Then as I scanned my newsfeed THIS guy spoke to me! I fell in love all over again. ha ha

Enjoy the weekend all!

The snow arrived today. Wasn't sure how I felt about that?
On the one hand, Saturday a large flat box arrived, a decorated 6' 5" collapsible Christmas tree. It was here at 12:30 and I had it set up by 1 p.m. No small feat as I stand at 5' 3" with limited upper arm strength...ha ha . Now the other Christmas stuff is still cocooned away in cupboards, and in a few different areas, who remembers where it all is?
Donated our 25 year old artificial tree to Value Village that same afternoon. So snow today? I can handle that.

ha ha !! The Toronto Maple Leafs won a game tonight!! ( after 5 losses in a row ) Nylander scored on his OWN goalie early in the first,
but redeemed himself scoring the O.T. winner! yawn....just cannot get that excited this year about them.

Good morning
@walkonby my DH who is the biggest Leafs fan is getting upset at the entire Leafs team, most games the players seems to just want the game to over no one is even trying in my opinion. I am not hopeful this season but miracles can happen. Keeping my fingers crossed they get there act together
Have an awesome day everyone

I am your DH's camp. Haven't really " watched " a game since the season began. My main reason was my heart was broken over Marner leaving.
I've clicked into a couple of the Leafs's games to see the score, you know? Yep, just enough to get my hopes up as they have the lead.
However, by the 3rd period they blow whatever lead they had and lose! So they sure needed this win last night for a morale boost!

I put up our Christmas tree on November 10th and figured I would keep things ( decorating ) small and simple.
Oh brother, once that can of worms opened up it seemed every time I went searching for something NOT Christmas
related, I'd find a unique ornament or a box of " stuff " . Some indoor, some outdoor. So once again certain areas of
the home look like a bunch of the Elves threw up. ha ha ha. I am very much grinning looking out the front window at
my inflatable Olaf. ( still a kid at heart I guess )

No Chatters in here since December 1st? Some are away on holidays, so never mind.
Day 2 here waiting for the final installation to be done on the bathroom shower.
Being patient is a form of adulting I think. Carry on everyone.
Had to come back and add THIS to the post. It just gave me all the warm fuzzies!
