Heartbreak for Canada Women's Hockey. We earned a Silver but similar to the other men's games where the tying goal was made with 2 min. left. then they score in OT.
The USA wins the Gold.

GULP!!! How on earth did Team Canada win that game against Finland!!??
It came down to the wire!! Tied in the 3rd 2-2. With 35 seconds left and
2 seconds left on their PP MacKinnon scores!!

UH OH!! It's the 2nd intermission and the USA is ahead 5-0 against Slovakia, so
I think it will be Canada and the USA on Sunday for GOLD!!!

@walkonby we were at the edge of our seats watching that game no one in my living room was allowed to say a word my older DD was telling me I am putting out negative thoughts . She is so into the Olympics .

We were hoping for the USA not to win there game. Sunday hockey game between Canada and the USA should be a good game my DH will be up to also watch .

Here we have Hamlet ( my hemorrhoid cat ) who insists on sitting anywhere I AM! For all the times he's " watched "

NFL, MLB, CFL and NHL games with me you'd think he'd learn! He continues to choose the armrest, falling into a deep

slumber only to be traumatized by one of us screaming at the tv! Whoosh! Off he flies. Gives us dirty looks as we always

say sorry, promising not to yell again. We lie. We try but it always happens.

This is just something else he does that baffles me?? He sits on top of the beautiful plush tent bed, crushing it flat then curls

up and goes to sleep?? He's supposed to curl up inside of it.






Of course I wanted the USA to lose but if they had to win this was NOT the way I wanted, giving them a huge boost to bring
into the game on Sunday. Plus we are without Crosby!!

AND!!! lets not forget the USA had TOO many men on the ice when the puck hit the skate of a USA player at the bench. That player ( was it a Hughes brother? ) decided to play the puck before his teammates were off the ice!!! That is an automatic 2 many men penalty! No call.
Whatevs.....We had MORE shots on net than they did too....just sayin. Final tally was 42-28 for Team Canada so the USA needs to thank their goalie for keeping them in it.

I will now have my own moment of silence and then try to figure out a way to tell DH we lost, he is still asleep.

oh boy!! I've followed my hearthrob NHL-er since he left T.O. ( watched most every game he's played in, minus the Blacked out ones.
( that ticks me off ) I celebrated his Stanley Cup win with Colorado, reveling in his " F.U " on camera attitude towards Toronto who
thought he was the problem...bwahaha!!!
Well, finally after all the jibber-jabber Nazem Kadri got his trade! Calgary has traded him back to the Colorado Avalanche.
