Good Afternoon,
The snow is really coming down here but I am also half tempted to ignore it since they are calling for rain tomorrow. Why shovel when it will all wash away tomorrow.

I have no ambition today, which I think is my sleep schedule up again at 3:30 this morning laid awake for about an hour and then fell back asleep. I did consider just getting up because I feel like the falling back asleep is what is causing my lack of ambition but starting my day at 3:30 on a Sunday just felt so wrong.

I had fallen behind on my budget again (shocking I know LOL), but I cleaned it up last night and honestly, I am surprised where I am at with groceries. I knew I wasn't overbudget by any means but I really haven't spent a lot this month, which I am not complaining about. There are a few things I watching for sales on so it will be nice to have the carry over to cover possible upcoming stock up, especially on meat.

Today, so far nothing is getting done. I know I need to prep but my body isn't feeling it and as much as I know I should prep, I am very tempted to give in. I think I just need a day off.

I do need to figure out dinner, I have written a lose meal plan for the week, mainly just meals I could think of that we have everything on hand to make.

For tonight I am thinking either Steak with Ricotta Gnocchi in a mushroom cream sauce or Dutch Oven Chicken which is Chicken in a creamy sauce with Mushrooms and Carrots which I server over Mashed Potatoes.

Well...

I am still in shock by the out come of this accident story....

I was sure he was not responsible....

The thing that piss me the most is that the cop dont want to heard his version of the accident.

So it is not in the files...

Just the other guy seems interessting for them and he is the one responsible.

We were not moving when this *&)*&* happenning....
The other guy hit us!!!!!!! grr

Apparently this is normal to just take 1 version...none sense....

2 times now my father goes to the police office and the cop dont call him back.

If his version is put in the files and considered, that might change something for the insurance...

Then went to Sobeys strawberries 2.49 plus 100 pts when you buy 2 so got 2=1.99 each

@coupongirl Strawberries at Sobeys in SK are $4.99/lb with no bonus points. I’m glad when I manage to get a good produce box that includes strawberries.

Disclaimer:
My father never had an accident before.
He was just insured by 1 side due to the value of the car it was too expensive.
I know my father is not 100% in shape but still....
At 77 years old and with all his health problems my father really did not need that *&)&) to deal wiith.
Not me neither.
My father will try to change for another doctor in the same city because going in another city is just not possible anymore...
And the health report is not so positive maybe 50-50.
He put $650 for the catalyst and $450 for new tires and a few others repairs over the years.
He purchased the car 5 years ago for $1500.
Now we talk about 2k repairs + the windshill maybe $300.
So,that will not happens.
All behind one passenger side is very damaged and scrap...
My father just have is old security pension.
And I am in a process to do the forms for social aid and for disability......
That is barrely enough to survive.....
So............???
Only responsabliity of the accident could be is blind spot but still....
That is so unfair and not correct.
I do all the things I can to save money because of the tight no money budget and this *&*&*( happens...

Back to Monday!!! Surprised to wake up to pavement clear driveways! @SassyAshley - I too thought we better shovel yesterday because I thought the rain would have made it a sloppy mess but surprisingly it didn't. Glad I didn't waste my time. A clean slate before the snow we are expecting this evening/over night.
Hopefully not as bad as up North! Glad they were proactive and closed many of the roads up that way. Hopefully it helps keep people safe.

Decided Pasta with meat sauce sounded perfect for dinner. Took the sauce out of the freezer and will simmer in the pot later this afternoon.

Have something for work that I have been putting off for a long time that I need to get at today....ugh. I still don't want to do it.
Will make a plan to start it at 11am! Till then I can finish up the odds and ends.
Think I need to make something to eat soon...didn't eat much yesterday and it is catching up with me today!

Good Morning Everyone,
I really did not get anything done yesterday and I don't want to say I had poor me day but I had a day of missing the old. Missing when everything wasn't on me, missing when things were simple, missing when we could just leave the house. missing having the house to myself. I dare not say anything to Mom as I know it worse on her but I just had a day of feelings.

I did make Dinner last night we had Dutch Oven Chicken over Mashed Potatoes.

I did end up shoveling the stairs only because I really needed to take the kitchen garbage out.

I tried to go into today, as a new day. But honestly, I am struggling.

Not sure if it is the weather or what, but I did not want to get up this morning, I was awake I just could not convince myself to get out of bed.

I am up and trying to get all the things done, I have laundry going.

Then we had an issue at work, something wasn't working, fixed it. Went to make a bagel, we are out of spreadable butter, went to make more, went under the sink to discover the kitchen sink is leaking so guess I will deal with that.

I am no plumber but I really don't want to call a plumber so we shall see what I can do.

I kind of feel like I should have stayed in bed, but well adulting is fun.

Afternoon ,yesterday i made scallop poatoes ,so yummy with my chicken breast and brocolli.I have left overs for tmr.

Just went and got new batteries for our cars keyfob then stopped at a local farm store .

I got 5 lbs of cosmic crisp apples for $5.09 on sale ,i will give some to my son on tuesday when he drops the girls off for his appt .
i also got a loaf of fresh bread 3.89
cinnamon bagels 5.99 so fresh just had one
boston lettuce 3.49
english cucumber 1.99
supersweet carrots 4.33 a bag

plus a few small hot apple cider to drink on the way home .lol

Well....I haven't started the work thing I wanted to get on today yet.....but I totally finished all the little things...dealt with a few things that came in and now I am ready to start it and will continue on it in the morning without worrying about other things!

And dinner smells amazing simmering on the stove. Easy Peasy!

Back home and cant fall asleep yet-just had a little bit of homemade mac and cheese with some bruschetta. Hopefully the time adjustment is not too bad-but it is 18 hrs. Treated myself to extra leg room and a sleeping pill on the way home so was pretty comfortable. DD was departing Calgary airport as I arrived so I had a very quick visit with her while waiting for luggage.

Morning! Snowy and blowy here today.
No plans to leave the house today unless I get a fantastic deal on Flash food (tons of stuff marked down to .50C so waiting to see if they do the same to the eggs I am watching)

I thought ahead and took chicken out of the freezer last night so I had a plan for dinner. Simple. Chicken. veggies, and a few other sides as I clean out the fridge/freezer. 1 huge sweet potato for sure!

Today:
Work- Should be able to finish the task today I have been putting off!
Organize a box that needs to be packed up in bankers box (not needed but hold onto for 7 years)

Organize coupon bag. I have coupons stuffed in purses and coat pockets. I need to to organize them and toss the expired ones.

Wash one load of laundry and hang to dry.

Make dinner.

If I get all that done today I will be happy!

Now to get at it! Have a wonderful day!

Good Morning Everyone,
I feel like I am in some sort of a funk.

I thought maybe I should try getting out of the house but we did get snow last night, not a lot but according to my co-workers the roads are really bad. The snow was that wet heavy snow and it froze overnight and has caused the roads to become slippery so looks like I will be staying in.

This kitchen sink has me perplexed. I emptied out the cupboard, there was one bolt that was a little lose I tightened it, I tried running water into the sink, no drip, I filled the sink and let it sit, no drip, I rinsed a milk container a couple small drips but nothing like it was in the morning.

Of course once I emptied the cupboard, I had to scrub it down. I ended up pulling out the steam cleaner so it is clean. I left everything out last night and put a small container under where I know it is dripping and so far no drips. Guess I will put everything back in and see what happens.

Ended up making Butter Chicken for Dinner last night, quick and easy but still feels warm and comforting. Tonight's dinner is a mystery.

Afternoon i went for my bone density test ,the home as hubby had the girls .We had lunch my homemade soup then off to dollarama i spent 5.00 on each of them .Noticed dollarama raised some prices vinegsr was 3.00 now 3.25 chocolate bars are now .99cents each .

Another appt on wednesday morning pain clinic for my arm .uggg

The girls are being watched by my daughter-in-laws mother and father ,sleep over for 2 nights .So i get a break .
