I’ll definitely think about that it’s just that I’m so busy with work, taking care of my parents, trying to look after my own home and spend time with Dh while dealing with some pain issues I feel I hardly have time to breathe sometimes . I’m hoping things slow down just a bit

@Frugalbigmama I use the instant pot for beans. It’s actually the only thing I use it for. I then use the souper cubes to freeze them and it’s so easy to just pop out the amount I need, I am the only one that likes them other than for a soup at make but the dry beans are so economical.
I drove to my moms today to take her to lunch and was driving right by a No Frills so I was able to get the scrubbing bubbles and CO 51 still had the offer so I was happy to be able to take advantage. I also grabbed another bag of potatoes because at 1.97 for 10 lbs. I am go to try to make my own frozen fries and hash browns.
I was happy to see Lynn back to give us an update on @walkonby .

Great idea for the Souper Cubes! I do not have an instant pot but I have no issue making a batch the old fashion way and freezing them! Thanks for the reminder!

    Morning!

Looked over the upcoming flyers. Very minimal shopping- just picking up a few fresh things (cucumbers!) and will use up what we have.

I am away 2 night this weekend-
Friday night I am babysitting my niece (so I will sleep over since it will be a late night). Saturday at an event that includes dinner. I'm sure the frozen lasagnas will be eaten in my absence.

    Enjoy the day!

I am the biggest procrastinator.... on certain things.
One work thing I have procrastinated on for months is now done...it took less then 5 mins after the initial set up (which took some calling and waiting) SO happy that is done!!!

I also just made chicken fried rice for DS (his fav) 2 large servings he will finish as soon as he knows it is in the fridge.

Going to pick up coffee later this afternoon and visit my friend. I may even put on make up- we will see!

    Good Morning! Grey day here!

Had a great visit with my friend yesterday. Then popped into SDM for eggs/butter. (Thanks to coupon-girl for the reminder of the 4000 pc pts)
When mama doesn't cook the eggs seem to disappear in this house. I guess it is still cheaper then ground beef so that is good.
Our fridge is pretty empty (just basics) so I need to be creative and see what I can make so it is ready to heat and eat for dinner. (then maybe the eggs will be left alone for a day or 2!) Really need to plan to cook the turkey and ham in our freezer... Just really tired of planning/eating dinner every day!

Today- Work-Clean kitchen (late night dishes) Do a load of laundry and hang to dry. Pack overnight bag for weekend. Clean out my coupon bag- toss expired and see what I have. Stalk Flashfood- Mission accomplished! Ordered a produce box for $5. It has huge bag of cherry tomatoes- which will be the star of tonight's dinner I just planned. Tons of clementines/apples/bananas/limes/lemons/mini cucumbers/2 large tomatoes and one large white onion (which I needed as we are out of onions and have old apples!) This box will feed us well today for sure! (Picked up this box- it had a few kiwi added on top!- I'm going to make fruit bowls for our evening snack )

Now to get this day rolling!

    Have a great day!
