12pm 3 eggs/peppers/onions/spinach/mushrooms/salt/pepper/coconut oil
3pm Hummus/carrots/celery and a tea (not my normal but my mom is a tea granny)
6pm Visiting my mom for the night so she wants to go out so I will have chicken and garden salad.
Edit- we ended up not going out for dinner- Bought a rotisserie chicken and that is what I had. (around 7pm) I wasn't really that hungry.
Then had another tea in the evening. No snack needed.Last edited by Frugalbigmama; Sat, Apr 4th, 2026 at 12:44 PM.

Friday April 03
Had a tea at 830 am.
Didn't eat all day till 815pm. at a restaurant. Had a chicken wrap (chicken/lettuce/bit of cheese and asked for no sauce- sauce on side) side was a garden salad. (I would have normally got ceasar salad or fries) Wrap was good and hit the spot and took the salad home to go with my dinner tonight.
My sister invited me to dinner- She was making Greek salad and pasta- (with the plan on only having a bit of pasta) I debated going but I want and I could have just eaten the salad but I was tired and part of me didn't want the temptation.

Note- I am weighing myself everyday at the start to keep myself motivated. (I missed yesterday because I wasn't home and don't want to use someone else's scale)
Drum roll! Today showed down 5Lbs! I am trusting the process (and I am on that time of the month so I am not going to be upset if I go up as I know it is just the time) Very motivated!
I went out this morning to get a few things for meals. Don't want to have to shop all the time but just trying to get in the grove and for some fresh stuff I can't buy too much if I am the only one eating them (mushrooms!) Totally going to be planning my veggies by the sale/deals so need to keep the omelette breakfest going till the sale is over lol. GT had tons of the mushrooms on for $1. Found one that looked as good as the ones on the sale shelf. At RCSS I went for tubed ground beef for family (I have good ground beef but I am saving it lol) but they didn't have any so was reminded that the ground turkey would totally work for my taco/sweet potato protein bowls so got a 4pk for $10. Hoping the guys will like it. Also found a huge package of BLSL chicken marked down to $10ish (reg over $17ish)
I bought a Flash food box of veggies last night and picked up this morning. Potatoes/peppers/Lemons/limes/clementines/apples/red onions and a package of Red pearl onions. I have the fruit in a bowl (DS polished off the last one) The potatoes were cleaned/chopped and are marinating in olive oil/spices (for the guys dinner side) One red onion and pepper cleaned chopped and ready in the fridge for dinner. The entire tray of chicken chopped into chunks and marinating in spices and fresh lemon/lime juice.(for dinner) Thawing the ground turkey (2) meat to make with taco seasoning for tomorrow nights dinner.
I bought 2 things of hummus on Thursday and still have carrots and celery (celery for todays snack) Now that I have the lemons (the reason I bought the flashfood box) I am going to attempt to make my own hummus
I will wait till Monday once we have opened the 2nd container we have.
Having the food ready is helping me 100%.
1230pm 3 eggs/peppers/mushrooms/spinach/onions/coconut oil/salt/pepper
3pm Carrots/celery/hummus
7pm Chicken/sweet potato/cauliflower/garden salad(leftover from day before)
930pm Oat/pbutter/raspberries/chia seeds- something I made the other day that isn't that bad lolLast edited by Frugalbigmama; Sun, Apr 5th, 2026 at 12:19 PM.

Down another .8! It counts lol
12pm 3 eggs/peppers/onions/mushrooms/salt/pepper
Prepped my ground turkey with onions and taco seasonings. Chopped the peppers for it. The plan is to cook sweet potatoes and fill with ground turkey/peppers/I'm adding a coleslaw mix too and a little cheese and then baking for the cheese to melt. Sounds good to me! Hope I love it because this will be an easy meal to prep.
3pm hummus/carrots/cucumber
6pm Sweet potato topped with ground turkey/onions/taco seasoning/cabbage mixture/cheese then popped back in oven to melt
9pm Fresh pineappleLast edited by Frugalbigmama; Mon, Apr 6th, 2026 at 09:55 AM.

Will reduce my dinner serving tonight.

I am able to track my food in my app so I will do that going forward.
Still aiming to have my first meal of the day at around noon. So far so good.
My sister and I are going away for a night on Monday and I told her we will be fine for dinner. (The plan was to try a new steak house but my sister can't have red meat right now so we will save that for another time) So chicken and veggies it is! At least we don't have to cook
