I do not know what is for dinner, but I am supposed to have a friend over for supper.
We are having roast ham, baked potatoes, boiled peas, and coleslaw. We are having apple pie with the crumble topping for dessert. (My mom baked it when she visited a few weeks ago and I pulled it out of the freezer)

Tonight I was going to have meat pie (homemade, of course), but I just got a call that we're going up to my father-in-laws for ribs
That means that we're having meat pie tomorrow night.SwagBucks.com - the premiere digital dollar. Earn SwagBucks to redeem for great prizes. Amazon.ca are available here!

Had the in-laws over last night...roasted chicken with the works, and homemade cinnamon buns! Tonight is burgers and fries at my Dad's house.

Tonight we had an array of items. I roasted some baby potatoes, local asparagus and steamed a spaghetti squash that I whipped up a vegan alfredo sauce for. The main attraction was a stuffed vegan Chick'n breast made from soy and stuffed with black beans, corn and tomato sauce. On the side we had some amazing potato-rosemary bread. It was a very filling meal.

As always, KittyPaws, the meal looks amazing. Gosh, I would just eat the spaghetti squash (no sauce) and asparagoose (as my son calls it) and be a happy camper!
Tonight, we're going ethnic! My husband taught me to make Sarma - a dish from Yugo., and mine is getting pretty close to tasting like his. We do alter the original because buying a head of soured cabbage is very expensive, so we use sauerkraut - and make up the rolls of ground pork, ground beef, onion, and rice, and cook in a tomato broth just with the saurkraut in the pot. It's absolutely scrumptious - and major comfort food! (The 'proper' way is to wrap the mixture rolled in a whole soured cabbage leaf, then cook. )
I make regular cabbage rolls, but usually meatless. So sarma is related, but different because they are mostly meat and you eat them with this wonderful broth they are cooked in.
