Today was really tiring for me so I felt like I need something very comforting.. some nice turkey pot pie! Nice beautiful flaky crust and with leftover turkey, onion, carrots, peas and broccoli florets in a gravy with a side salad of mixed greens and for dessert I am just going to have some of the chocolates I can't stop buying haha.

My mommy made my birthday dinner , lasagna with cheesy garlic bread and Cesar salad. Complete with chocolate fudge cake and quebon chocolate milk.
I insist on specifying since Quebon is the absolute best chocolate milk

I'm cooking a turkey..I have a few people around today, it is so good to be home!!!! So will just keep it simple with some mashed potatoes, stuffing, carrots, corn, gravy and whatever else I can throw together at the last minute.

There was a holiday reception at work yesterday, and I wasn't hungry for supper when I got home, ate too much! DH was going out to a retirement dinner for a coworker, so DS had leftover pizza from the night before.
Tonight I think it shall be spaghetti and meatballs - homemade meatballs from the freezer (I cook and freeze them), jarred sauce.

Today for dinner I'm making something simple : macaroni & cheese. I make mine the easy way and it tastes so good. I boil my macaroni in salted water and when cooked mix with a little butter. Then grease an 8 x 8 glass dish and layer the bottom generously with grated cheese (I use for the full dish about 3/4 of a 500g Old cheese block), then macaroni, repeat layers 2-3 times, ending with lots of cheese on the top. Bake in a 375 oven for about 45 mins until the top is all crusty..it is so good!!!
