my supper was good too. I bought some dry chicken coating mix the other day in a baggie so had to try it, so I coated chicken pieces (with skin) in ranch dressing and then used the coating mix on the chicken and baked in the oven..it was yummy!!! It crisped really well..and with it I scrubbed some russet potatoes and chunked those (with the skin too) and coated them with ranch dressing, parmesan cheese, S & P, and garlic powder and baked in the oven (but I gave those a 1/2 hr start ahead of the chicken) and baked in a deep dish and stirred every 10-15 mins so that the parm cheese didn't burn). It all tasted amazing!!

WOW that would scare me too, I am always afraid of the leaving the crock pot going well I am away.
Your dinner looks amazing.
On that note my dinner last night was McDonalds for dinner. Went out to do some final prep for our trip and did not get home till after 8 so dinner had to be grab and go and quick.
I already cannot wait for my vacation to be over so I can go back to normal eating and we have not even left yet.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

I have no idea lol.
It was pretty old though, almost as old as me... Sooo that could very well have been the problem? I'm going to scope out a deal on a new one because I really cannot live without it.

I have a big batch of chili in the slow cooker..ground beef, onions, mushrooms, garlic, beans (3 different kinds, incl a few black beans,,shhhh) corn, 1/2 bottle left over salsa, couple of tomatoes that needed to be used, can tomatoes, tomato soup, tomato paste, S&P , chili powder..(and my secret ingredient a small parsnip diced very small, it adds a very nice different flavour).

Yesterday was dolma in Arabic style (sheikh el mahshi). It's very difficult to prepare (in terms of time, takes very much time), my husband and I made together (on Sunday beforehand, then on Monday it was cooked).
The recipe you can find here, but the one, we prepared, my mother-in-law taught us.

^ I don't know what to have today...that sounds good, maybe I will whip up some pasta as I have lots of ground beef and mushrooms to use up...(and make some extra sauce to use in those Pillsbury crescent rolls with lots of cheese as a quick appy when someone visits)
