I had a small bowl of salad, am just now munching down on a huge bowl of my fave pasta - orecchiette - with tomato sauce.
I would normally only buy that pasta at the Italian Store in Edmonton, but we haven't been for ages - was amazed to find it at WM. Definitely worth paying more for.

Tonight I have some beef tenderloin tips (I buy the whole loin at Costco and butcher it myself), that I'm going to cook up in a paprika gravy and serve it over egg noodles (gluten free of coarse) Then I'll make a Cesar salad to go with it. Ever since I got my Blendtec, I've been making all my own salad dressings and am finding that we eat some ort of salad probably 5 days out of 7 I never realize how great tasting homemade dressings can be, even though I made them before.
Now I try new ones al the time, fresh raspberry vinaigrette, Cesar, strawberry/poppy seed the list goes on.We all need a little sunshine every now and then

Mild Italian sausages on the BBQ with corn on the cob and a large salad (lettuce, green onions, cherry tomatoes, radishes, and for a flavour boost i added fresh Rosemary leaves; everything from my little garden)!

I really fancy a garden salad tonight....
I'm thinking I would love a steak on the BBQ with some roasted veggies. Things just don't taste the same to me (it's because of my treatments) but I am willing to give the steak thing a try. It won't be long before we Ontarians will be enjoying those delicious strawberries again.
I will just mention that I had the nicest lasagna the other night. My neighbour says that she puts about 1 1/2 cups of sauce in the baking dish, then a layer of cheese & then the noodles on top of the cheese. It sure was cheesy, but not overly cheesy...very tasty. I think it's so nice when others share their cooking tips & secrets with you.

Oh, Bub, I agree - big, juicy chickens from the Hutterites are the best!
Tonight we had potato and cheese perogies, with sauteed bacon and onions, and sour cream.
Glad to say my husband's appetite is back! Yay! Hoping he puts on a few pounds, since he's been eating well this week - and I mean both in high-calorie foods and amounts.

I have a craving for hot dogs! Not just any hot dogs but the Maple Leaf BBQ hot dogs with lots of relish and topped with chopped onion, tomato and cucumber. Usually i just add relish and mustard.

I have some blade steak strips marinating, was going to make a stir fry and have it over rice but I have some wraps to use so might just make fajitas instead with lots of veggies, peppers, onions, mushroom, etc..
