Since its so stinkin cold here I decided to make a frigerator stoop. Thicker than soup but not as thick as stew. I cleaned out the frige using:
Leeks
onions
garlic
tomatoe paste and diced ones
beef stock
oliverari 7 cheese tort
leftover chicken chow mien and spices green beans from our fave Chinese/indian fusion resturant.
I also added the rind from my parm cheese and a touch of heavy cream. Oh Ya I also LOADED it with kale and spinach and some mushrooms so all those veggies counteract the heavy cream . I used the usual spices of garam masala, cayenne, paprika, cumin, Worcestershire, etc.... It is delish!!!

Well, what an awesome shindig we had this evening!!; it was my aunt & uncle's 30th anniversary...and being Sunday , jiggs dinner was served and it was so delicious...roasted beef, pork, chicken, moose (ick!), salt beef, cabbage, peas pudding, potatoes, carrot, turnip, blueberry pudding, gravy (I know there was more but I forget what else) .. several different desserts and the wine flowed..cheers..and guess who got to take home all the leftovers? moi!! .. no cooking tomorrow!

Son came over for supper, we ordered takeout.
We all had the same - breaded cutlets (they were thick and huge!) with gravy, fries, carrots and green beans (the latter were mush, such a shame), orzo soup, salad, garlic toast. Appie was boneless pork ribs - absolutely delish - came with tzatziki sauce. Supper was absolutely awesome, and it was great to not have to cook.
We all were SO full, watched Tangled on tv and played with the cats!

Luckily, I have lots of leftovers from yesterday, so will finely chop some onion and cook in a fry pan and then cut up all the leftovers, meat, veggies & puddings into small pieces and fry and make like a hash...it is so yummy...
