Dh ate fresh M&C. LO had leftover pancake with roast ham sugar snap peas and a glass of milk, but wasn't very hungry. I had pancakes, roast ham, bacon, microwaved frozen strawberries and a glass of milk.

it's a cold day here, so I'm making a pot of peas soup (yellow split peas, salt beef, onion, potato, carrot, turnip, etc) and dough-boys!

Chicken again, leftover baked boneless chicken breasts from last night. But when I get home I'm putting some pork chops into the crockpot, should be ready by bedtime and we'll eat those tomorrow.

There's chicken thawing, but I'm not sure what's going to be done to it yet.

putting two small chickens in the oven tonight. I'll use any excuse I can to have the oven blasting in this weather. Brrrr.

Last night was a cleaning out the fridge/eating leftovers night. So oldest had homemade burger and a grill cheese lol then another burger later that night. youngest had a grill cheese and KD and I had leftover pasta from the night before since youngest didn't want it and I was saving it for him. Wanted to put something in the crockpot today but just didn't feel like the regular stuff. So not sure what my plan is tonight but I will figure it out.

Making chicken stir-fry this weekend for sure. Celery and fresh mushrooms are on for .99 at GT. Bought the peppers already, have carrots and onion and the rice and chicken. Just need a bag of sprouts and the celery and mushrooms
Just told my honey Monday night that I wanted this soon and we would plan it when the sales work and voila!

last night there was a wrench tossed into my dinner plans. I had planned on pressure cooking the leftover blade steak/gravy to tenderize it a bit more before adding veggies to it for a meat pie ( courtesy of premade pie shells). I also wanted to try tossing in some of my dehydrated carrot coins and sliced shrooms to see if they cook up o.k. ( I am still a beginner at that ). The slices of leftover steak turned out to be barely there so I panicked and started sipping some leftover wine!! I did not want to thaw more meat out, so I boiled 1/2 pkg. Ziggy's beef tortellini adding it and a healthy splash of the red wine into the mixture. I would never have thought it would taste as yummy as it did but I did warn the family that the soft things in the pie were pasta filled pockets of meat!
