filled and baked 14 Manicotti and made 2 smallish size lasagna's. That pasta sauce from 2014 went into the mix here, omg! so so good. I cook very well at 7:00 a.m. BUT I'll be nodding off at some point before the Jays start.

I was planning on having a quiet afternoon, watching football (hoping all my picks win) and making pizza..but my aunt just phoned and they're having a huge turkey dinner and I have to go..there's some family home....last night they played guitars and sang, it was so good...

Went to Gateway Meats and their pork steak was 1.77/lb... so trays were under $3. Fried some of that up and had mashed potatoes, carrrots and gravy.
Was also in Giant Tiger and they had The Cheesecake Factory cheesecake for $10 so I bought one of those... it's delish.

I made what my son calls kitchen sink chili - whatever happens to be around goes in. Base is ground pork, with onions, celery, carrots, mushrooms, cauliflower, beans, big can of roma tomatoes I cut up, can of tomato soup - plus garlic, thyme, pepper, chili powder - will see if I need to correct seasoning when I check it soon.
It turned out yummy - oh, and with scoobi-doo noodles, my son's fave.Last edited by Natalka; Sun, Sep 13th, 2015 at 08:28 PM.

I planned & dh cooked supper last night. Our 3yr old & the twins are all not feeling well, so I have my hands full with them. We had pork side ribs (NF sale) with BBQ sauce, KD, green & yellow beans with baby carrots. Dh discovered that we need propane, so the ribs were baked in the oven. Ended up eating quite late.

Friday night we had dinner in the city at a cute little Pasta & Pizza place. Saturday night we had steak, baked potato and huge garden salad. Last night we had BLSL chicken butterflied and baked in the oven on a stone with perogies, corn on the cob, ceaser salad and garlic bread. The corn was so good. And a deal at 10 cents a cob!!
