My awesome husband picked up supper on his way home from work - boneless ribs for him, which he just likes to eat with bread; for me, chicken strips (this place makes them homemade), steak fries, caesar salad. I ate 1/2 of everything, huge portions!

I baked the chicken thighs last night with a little bbq sauce on top to finish them off. I made KD and boiled broccoli. Our son picked out the broccoli. He ate all the broccoli crowns and asked for several servings and a good amount of chicken. Certainly no complaints from him.

Since I'm virtually immobilized right now, I'll heat up one of the frozen Meals on Wheels dinners, maybe swedish meatballs, with mixed veggies, and mashed potatoes.

misjudged the " small " bags of penne. I boiled up 4 bags ( what was I thinking?? ) Used 4 large jars of my own homemade sauce and 2 more jars of Garden Select and then simmered a commercial brand bag of frozen Italian meatballs ( GT had them on sale ).
It was a ton when it was done, so I filled a few med and large containers for the freezer marked " ready to eat penne and meatballs " and the rest hopefully will get eaten up this w/e.
Also had put the St Hubert Pulled Pork Pie in the oven before I realized just how much pasta was there. Oopsy!

Halibut and chips, but from the local fish and chip restaurant. They are a little pricey but excellent.
