..yesterday I had chicken wraps, baked chicken strip fillets until they were crispy and sauteed onion, mushroom & peppers with sweet onion dressing and then piled on a soft tortilla with lots of shredded cheddar..really good..today I have fish fillets thawing (from the food fishery this past summer) ..not sure what I'll do with it yet..probably pan fry to keep it simple....beer battered fish would be sooooo good..so see later on

M&Ms jumbo crispy wings, homemade potato wedges, raw veggies so it's all finger food - cauliflower for both of us, plus celery and carrots for me.

I was busy with the twins when it was time to start supper, so dh talked over our options with our son and they decided on supper together. They are now making M&C, butcher shop garlic sausage, green giant frozen broccoli, fresh cauliflower, and a glass of milk for supper. I guess the chicken leftovers will be turned into something else for tomorrow.

sliced up a round roast into beef strips. In crock pot, mixws soysauce, hoison sauce, brown sugar, fresh ginger, garlic, onion powder, little dry mustard, splash of sherry and sesame oil. Cooked on high for 4 hours.

Stir fried broccoli, red pepper and mushrooms. Threw beef/sauce and stirfry together with cornstarch/wine. Served over rice.

    Result: Husband ecstatic.

I'm in the same boat. But Chinese. We never get pizza lol.. Since it is just the youngest and he is easy to please I will whip up something. I have 2 fresh buns from last night left and I saw 2 lonely beef burgers in the freezer. Also a bag of cooked pasta, cooked pork, lots of peppers and onions. Hmmm. Will figure something out and be happy that I used up odds and ends.

You totally just reminded me we have burgers in the freezer I could just cook those up, maybe that or maybe sausages if I can find buns. Yep for sure something simple. But I am not ruling out pizza for tomorrow night

..made a chicken stir-fry with brown rice...cubed b/s chicken breast, added onions, mushrooms. red pepper, orange pepper, broccoli, S&P, garlic powder, ginger, a little worcestershire sauce, soya sauce, added a small can of mandarin oranges (they just dissolve in the mixture) and thickened everything with cornstarch...
