...made a small dish of baked macaroni & cheese, it was so good..all crispy on the outside & all gooey on the inside...and breaded chicken pieces baked until crispy.
I'm all ready for watching the Royal wedding tomorrow morning. I have scones made ahead of time, to re-heat and have with butter & marmalade..I made lemon cupcakes with a vanilla buttercream frosting..and later making a breakfast bake to pop in the oven tomorrow morning and also making a few tea sandwiches
scones are buttery & flaky, tried one earlier warm with just butter

Going out to dinner at friends and I’ve made the dessert...homemade triple layer banana coconut cake. Our friends are making Thai food and I think my dessert will go well.

@KelJo
How fabulous! Is your tiara ready? Or a fascinator?
LOL, I have a lovely real tiara, but the veil is still attached. If I pulled it out to wear, that would really freak out my husband!
Supper, takeout from a old style family greek restaurant. Veal cutlets (most places here just have pork), a kinda spicy gravy but tasty and tons of it; baked potato, came with a container of sour cream with bacon bits and green onion on top; mixed veggies which included like everything; the best garlic bread ever, and a baby greens salad with other veggies.
I couldn't eat even half the meat, half the veg, and half the baked potato.
I need to eat more protein, so this covered it. I was craving veggies badly.
Will have the leftovers tomorrow.
Oops, I ate the garlic bread and it was fab even cold.

We played bridge at our club this morning, then walked downtown and did some shopping at a couple of antique stores, now time to sit on the patio with some rose. We’re grilling tenderloin steak and mushrooms, tossing a Caesar salad and doing baked potatoes in the pressure cookers. I love the weekend!

dinner last night was at Markham buffet. DD did not want her ticket for the lobster so I had 2 of them!! I enjoyed almost all seafood proteins. ( lobster tails, sauteed fish heads, baked salmon, crab legs, scallops, and sauteed shrimps on skewers ).
Also noshed on shrimp California rolls, bok choy, green beans, dim sum, plain steamed rice, vermicelli noodles and lean pork and chicken.
Was so proud that I avoided breaded items. A pot of Oolong tea as well.
