had a late lunch at my parents' then came home with groceries and hubby is making sweet potato fries in the actifry for the first time. Hope it turns out good. FYI sweet potato is at RCSS for 0.68/lb

fries broke up into small pieces and we forgot it a bit so it was half burnt. So we ended up ordering Domino's pizza and chicken bites.

Wait, wait, I'm starting to see a pattern here, tell me if I'm wrong,
tell me if I'm wrong, it seems to me a person has to go the
store and buy food before they can cook it.
Am I right? Am I right?

I was supposed to have Nachos tonight as we portioned out 2 family packs of ground beef this morning but was not feeling that at dinner time so instead......................

I pulled a package of homemade Pulled Pork, made some cheat mashed potatoes (just used a fork to mash so not completely smooth) and found half a bun on the counter that I called as mine (should add no one was home to say no when I called it) and that was dinner.

Nah, slaughter your own meat, grow your own veg - that's the way to go!

    Well, I didn't...

Made soup from rib broth with barley, rice, potatoes, carrots, peas, onions, pasta - lots of dill.
Also made chorizo rolls - basically spiced pork rolled in biscuit dough, cut, and baked - like savoury cinn. buns.

...have to say I was really impressed with the crispness of the chicken drummies I made yesterday...I ran out of panko crumbs so I crushed up Pepperidge Farms Tortilla crackers, nacho cheese to a fine powder...for oven baked the chicken was moist and really crispy @ 475 degrees... better with skin...

..not sure what I'm having today...there are leftovers from yesterday..and I have some white rice in the fridge that I might turn into fried rice..with lots of veggies, chicken, egg..etc...sounds like a plan......
