well it has been 24 hrs since that wonderful Spring Rolls Buffet get together and I have had nothing solid at all yet.
Drank water most of the today, had absolutely no cravings or hunger all day...made a pot of Jasmine tea though as I felt a chill in my bones around 3 o'clock.
Time to search the fridge now for something on my " allowable foods " list....back to the clean eating again.

Thinking I might just make Potato Soup tonight, keep it simple and maybe I can find some time to stop at the store on the way home. I want to stock up on Potatoes as I hear there might be a potato shortage coming.

Mom wasn't feeling the Potato Soup last night but requested Nachos instead. All was going well until I went to make the meat and discovered we ran out of seasoning so I had to find the recipe and whip up another batch (actually made a double batch as I am giving some as Christmas presents). Then decided I did not feel like actual Nachos so used some Tortillas we had and made bundles by add Mushrooms and Peppers to the meat and adding cheese to stick everything together. They were a hit.
Tonight is a mystery I think I might need to shop after work so we will see what time I get home2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Yesterday I was sickie, but managed to have a half bowl of chicken noodle soup. Through the evening, nibbled on half a chicken breast sandwich.
Husband had soup, and fried some eggs up.
Feeling better today, but will have to wait til closer to supper time to see what I am able to have.

I have been feverishly trying to use up everything and empty out the fridge in preparation for all the stuff we will be loading back in there over Christmas. Makes for some interesting meals. Bits of this and that ( leftovers ) but soon we will have a feast!
