Purdee, your dogs look like they are ready to jump up into that picture and get some!
Last night (Sunday night) was leftovers from this Roast Lamb Dinner I had at Characters Restaurant on Davie Street in Vancouver. I've had this dish many times over many years and it never disappoints. You don't even need a knife for it because the meat just falls apart.
Oh, and of course I had a coupon, so it was buy one entree, get one free.

LOL my dogs know better. Whenever we're in the kitchen cooking they'd go into their cages and lay quietly waiting for food. As if we were fixing dinner for them.
WING IT!!!
Nowadays it's according to my dog. No seriously. She won't eat her food from the vet that's supposed to be very nutritious for dogs after giving birth. So i followed an SCer's suggestion to feed her ground beef and egg. I bought bulk ground beef and we had spagetti meat sauce, hamburger, taco and she (the dog) had plain cooked ground beef and she loved it for the first 2 days and now she won't touch the ground beef so I thought of BBQ chicken. We have fed leftover chicken to the dogs before and they loved it. So tonite we'll have BBQ chicken and garlicky green beans with white rice. Just so i can have left over chicken to feed my dogs.

Last night - Whopper Wednesday! I had half a whopper and almost all of a poutine (I give most of the cheese to my son) - they make pretty decent poutine.
Tonight is bake-it-all-in-one-roaster: chicken pieces, potatoes, onions, celery, and carrots. I just thicken the juices a bit after it's all roasted. Simple but SO yummy!
