I joined a CSA group this year, and over the course of the summer we got at least 4 pounds of pattypan squash through our local farm. Between the pattypan, the yellow & green zucchini, various lettuces, tons of onions, and the tomatoes (and all the other stuff) I've hardly had to buy any veggies since May.
Would you mind sharing your pattypan recipe? I still have 3 lbs in the freezer.

I don't have a recipe, I was just watching Cooking with the Wolfman - ok, went to his recipe site, couldn't find it, couldn't find it googling either - he must have just made it as a side dish - I think I remember him cutting it up, panfrying it with other squash, maybe zucchini and tomatoes...
GAH, I need to remember to write things down when I see them done on TV!

I have asparagus in the fridge and I think I might have a go at making cream of asparagus soup for dinner tonight.

When it's hot, either barbecue everything, or say to heck with it and get takeout.
