At a million degrees outside plus the humidity, and no a/c - no cooking for me.
Brought in Chinese food, which always lasts us for two suppers, so no cooking tomorrow either. Yay!

We had a great bbq at our friends place. Baked Brie with pepper jelly and crackers for an appy along with salmon, steaks, salad, rice, garlic bread, and a nectarine cooler followed by coconut cream pie and coffee for dessert

First day of vacation, so we're either spending the whole day in Kingston with friends (in which case does anybody have any recommendations for food?), or we're spending the day in downtown Montreal (in which case we're going for all you can eat sushi @ Komiko).
Or brunch in Kingston & supper in Montreal

I'm a Kingstonian, and I can recommend the food at Tango (more of a bar at night, but I think Mondays are slow most places). It's on Wellington Street just between Princess and Brock. Menu emphasis is on tapas. Wooden Heads on Ontario Street (wood-fired pizzas and to die for coconut shrimp). Saigon Delight downtown has good food in a casual atmosphere. Out of the downtown core, The Greek Islands on Bath Road has really good food, and quite reasonable prices. If you want to tell me your likes and price range, I'm sure I could recommend somewhere for you. Eating out is one of my favourite activities! Cooking is a very close second.

Well, in the end we didn't go to Kingston (we were both exhausted from a weekend of renovating to deal with any drive longer than 30 mins), but we made up for it by having date night at Komiko Sushi (in Montreal on St-Denis).
