What's For Dinner?

We had tacos yesterday.

Last night BF and I went to Mela Indian Restaurant in Toronto, they were having a special by reservation only 50% off the menu night. The food was incredible...so tasty but the service...meh the waitress looked lost, they new nothing about the food, and there was no communication between them, so we had about 3 waitresses ask us for drinks each time saying we already ordered lol.
Here is what we got, we started with
Plum Paneer pakuras:
Yogurt Stuffed Indian Cheese fried w
Plum infused chickpeas Batter

then we ordered
Butter Chicken: Boneless bbq chicken cooked w cream, tomato base Indian spices & seasoning
Murog Bhaji: BBQ Chicken breast cooked w yogurt, onion, bell pepper and Indian spices
Whole Wheat Rooti
Cheese Naan and basmati rice.

The total after discount for just the food was ...26.97!!! Even paying full price would have been ok, because the food was delicious!

Home made chinese food. I baked the ham and cooked the rice for it yesterday.
I just hope I'm not too tired after putting in a 12hr day.

took the little lady out to supper for our 6 month anniversary. I had lemon salmon in hollandaise sauce and she had seafood penne. Not bad and the food was great.
