Well this week was not one of our best but here is what I/We had:
Monday: Hard Boiled egg Sandwich with a bad of the Cavendish Wedges that were on Sale at Food Basics
Tuesday: Baked Grill'ems with Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Cinnamon Yogurt Sauce and Mashed Butternut Squash
Wednesday: Nachos
Thursday: Mexican Stuffed Portobellos using left over Quinoa and Taco Meat
Friday: Mr Greek well grocery shopping
Saturday: Mary Brown's spent all day cleaning and by dinner I was done
Tonight should be Oktoberfest Sausages since I took them out yesterday but we will have to see what Mom says she usually vetoes my sausage for something else so I will eat them tomorrow when she is working. Only time will tell.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Well, I didn't get to BBQ as I couldn't get it to light up.... so I George Forman'd it. Mac salad as a side and apple pie a la mode.
I wouldn't mind that cinnamon apple swirl pound cake recipe if you're willing to shareLast edited by padyofurniture; Sun, Nov 2nd, 2014 at 12:56 PM.

Roast chicken dinner tonight, son is coming over. I'll roast the chicken with many, many cloves of garlic, have stuffing, make gravy; mashed potatoes, homemade cranberry sauce, sweet glazed carrots, salad.

Been the hospital most of the day (my grandmother might go home tomorrow, off oxygen for the past couple of days) ...so my aunt sent in a "cold plate" with 3 different kinds of potato salad (i.e. mustard, vegetable & egg) macaroni salad, roasted beets, roasted ham, chicken & beef and stuffing...yummy....its a yucky night here..so looking forward to making a big bowl of popcorn later and mixing it with leftover Halloween junk...gummies, sour patches & sour cream & onion chips..and watching some oldie movies..

I did my prime rib roast tonight! My review is, it was good...but I was really expecting something much better from something called Prime Rib. I guess I got what I paid for ($5/lb at Chops), it was tasty as roasts go, but it wasn't exceptional. Now I'm really wondering what that $60 one from Costco would have been like!

Mom vetoed the Sausages so instead we are having Homemade Burgers with Poutine.

I was an absolute glutton and it was terrible. lol
Tonight we had turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, and glazed root vegetables followed by apple pie for dessert. I had seconds when I shouldn't have and dessert after that when I definitely shouldn't have. lol. But I figure I earned it-- after all, it took me 3 hours this morning to get all that stuff prepped and ready and another hour and a half of clean up time (deboning the rest of the bird and freezing etc)
But I've had 3 stupid turkeys in my freezer and they are taking up way too much space so I had to get rid of one. I think I'm cured of my desire to cook another turkey for awhile!!!"Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle
