What's For Dinner?

Tonight is barbecued pork burgers, potato salad, macaroni salad.

we had potato crusted fish and french fries (of course i made my own fresh cut ones instead of store bought ickyness lol)

(didn't care for the Bearpaw burgers ......they have soy protein as filler ...... - only had 2 boxes to use up, thank goodness.)

last night was farmer sausage, the best ever corn on the cob, brocolli salad, and for dessert...banana bread with brown sugar & pecans on top.


tonight... more corn on the cob....just made some home made apricot jam.....maybe jam on soft bread with lots of butter...

Not sure what we're having tonight but lunch is crepes....kids nagged dh to make some(its the only thing he can do)- I'm supplying the healthy part(fruit, fruit and yes ..more fruit!)

Downside to dh cooking......kitchen looks like a bomb has hit it afterwards
Oh well it doesn't happen very often

I didn't make it but I believe the main ingredients was chopped raw broccoli, plus sliced grapes, fried bacon crumbled, sunflower seeds & mayo.

mac and peppers/tomato green stuff salad! that i am going to help make
papaya/mango salad and grilled veggies :D

Had lots of leftover spaghetti mixed with a bit of tomato sauce, so had to come up with something, not just make a meat sauce.
So I sauteed onions, celery, mushrooms, tomatoes, and added a pound of ground pork. Added a bunch of fresh spinach, some leftover corn, and a can of mushroom soup.
Layered cut up spaghetti, the above meat and veggie concoction, and mozza cheese in a 9x13 -- I figure if the ingredients are edible, the conglomeration should be, too!
Serving it with a large Caesar salad - romaine, fresh spinach, mushrooms, and cauliflower!

we got a big fresh salmon fillet and having salmon burgers and fillets on rice. Very nice and moist
